Tea Party Express urges lawmakers to pass health care bill

A national tea party group is supporting the health care bill that President Trump and House Speaker Paul D. Ryan are urging lawmaker to pass on Capitol Hill. Sal Russo, the co-founder and chief strategist of Tea Party Express, which bills itself as the largest tea party political action committee, told Medium that the bill is the “first step in President Donald Trump and Speaker Paul Ryan’s promise to repeal and replace Obamacare.” “Admittedly, this is far from a perfect repeal, and no conservative would propose this if it weren’t for the reality of the obstructionist Democrats in the Senate,” Mr. Russo said. “But President Ronald Reagan had the right idea as he faced a Democratic-controlled House throughout his presidency. He would regularly say about working with the Democrats, ‘If they offer you half a loaf, what do you do? You take half a loaf and then you come back for more.’ “

Is the tea party handing out pussy hats too? Repeal it and leave the insurance business to insurance companies and the free market. Get government out of the health care business entirely. Dismantle all the alphabet agencies. Drain the swamp.

Repeal ain’t happening.

You have two choices.

Support RyanCare with the hope that little by little things can be done
to improve it as time goes on.

Or fail to pass RyanCare and Full Blown Obamacare is here to stay.

That IS the reality of this vote.

It's another DemocRAT News Network, promoting a DemocRAT FAKE Tea Party, in order to BLAME the real Tea Party for abandoning conservative values.
It's time or REPEAL AND REPLACE "Democrat Light" House Speaker Paul D. Ryan !

I hate being given with choices to choose. Ryan plan sucks. It will undermine Trump presidency. Trump should continue to negotiate with Rand Paul. No plan better than another bad plan. or let Obamacare implode itself.

Pass the bill, let the Senate take up their version, pass it there and reconcile. During the reconciliation process get rid of all the junk and then pass it with majorities in both houses and let Trump sign it.

The problem is Ryan is not allowing any amendments amd what gets passed in the house is what we get.

Just an observation, but if this goes down and there is no replacement....I think the Democrats will be kinda shocked and bewildered.

The ObamaCare package is losing participants every single year....cost issues are the dynamic at work. If you go for some top policy...family with three kids...you could be looking at $14,000 a year on payments, and $5,000 on the deductible. Who wants to pay $19,000 a year?

If this fails...then we are locked in and face some moment where the general pubic will be angry at both the GOP and the Democrats. Neither can fix this, and the only legit way out is single-payer. At best...it’s six to eight years away from being forced onto everyone. Trump is simply forcing the GOP bigwigs who hyped up their dream deal five years ago to admit it won’t pass.

What part of “Taxed Enough Already” do they not understand? The bill still includes a “tax”, no matter what you change the name to.

Frankly, I don’t trust any of these so-called conservative PACs, especially the ones that have the words “Tea Party” in their name.

I’ve read plenty about their collection and spending practices and actual money given to candidates, and their ‘overhead’ costs are abysmal.

To me they are nothing more than opportunists with DC HQ address and a few shysters who make a lot of money and have big, big perks.

Baloney.

This rag that Ryan has produced has at best 29% approval, and at worst 17% approval of Americans according to Gallup.

No one wants this Ryancare bill but his financiers. A Ryan affiliated PAC just dropped the congressman in iowa Iowa because he is a “No” vote on Ryan’s bill. Good grief. How obvious can attachments to Ryan be?

That is a possibility too.

But Obamacare will continue until it fails or is propped up with taxpayer money.

There will be no repeal of this bill. That is the reality.

The GOP is called the Stupid Party for a reason.

Standing on the cusp of a generation of political dominance, they’re prepared to piss it all away to appease a prick RINO Speaker.
