The cancer was removed. The SEVEN years after now is very expensive too as most of it was under obama.
The House Conservatives need to
(a) not allow Senate procedural rules to determine the measures put forth in their bill,
(b) tell their GOP Senate colleagues to pass their version even as limited by the Senate rules,
and (c) consider that the House objections could be overcome in the joint House-Senate reconciliation bill where different Senate procedures would apply as regards its passage in the Senate.
Obamacare centralized insurance in a few big companies, as is common with big government programs. Those big insurance companies are now too big to fail.
The plan of the far left is to double down and merge the insurance companies into an an even bigger single insurance company... a medimae or medimac similar to fanniemae/fanniemac.

Seems the Republican “leadership” and the Democrats have a lot in common: When you find yourself at the bottom of a hole, keep digging. Unlike Trump, they just don’t know what to do when they win and can’t figure out why they occasionally do.

As long as they don’t send him anything to sign his hands are clean. He’s out there going this is a “great” bill, a “terrific” bill. If they don’t pass it, he can say they couldn’t even get that done. But, I don’t know what Mr. Trump is doing, but I know he games stuff like this out well in advance. He knows all of his options in any contingency and he never asks a question he doesn’t already know the answer to. He’ll be fine.

Your mistake is assuming the beltway GOP wants something fundamentally different than the Dems. If there is anything Ryancare shows us is it that the exempt GOP is just fine with Obamacare.
I suspect it’s not going to unfold this way.
I won’t believe Ryancare fails until it fails. We’ve seen this movie before and the GOP leadership has been able to bully enough folks into supporting them.
This is not small stuff, and the House must spell out who can legally receive govt benefits, and put a check in place to ensure eligibility.
Or the damn bill can burn in the gutters of hell.

Ryan didn’t get in a hurry... he kept the bill hidden until he pulled it out at the last minute... he wanted to pass it like he wanted it to be. He told everyone this was the only way they could win ANYTHING towards the bill. He is one of those who has said “we can’t impeach”... “we can’t bring it up for vote”... “they’ll just block it”... “they’ll just filibuster”... so in the end, Ryan did nothing that would be a problem for him... for he CAN’T.
I don’t trust the man yet... and probably never will.
