Support is growing among Canadians to deport illegal refugees who are entering Canada at unofficial border crossings. Almost half of respondents to a new Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released Monday want the illegals out of the country. A similar number are critical of Prime Minister Justin Trudeaus response to the crisis.
Only 36 percent of those polled want to keep the refugees in Canada.

That would be the ones already there..............
Ohhhhhhh Canaduhhhhhhh
But the naive Canadians elected Justin, the Noble, to ‘lead’. He is in favor of unlimited refugees........when IS their next election for PM?
LOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOL!!!!!
Next thing you know they’ll be demanding fair trade deals and lower taxes. Darned frozen deplorables.
In guess they don’t know that makes them racists?/s
No one cares what the Canadian people want one way or the other. Literally. No one.
What a bunch of raaaaaaaacists!!!!
And Hollywood.
They do realize they are considered a “Western” nation right?
Why would they think they have representation in their government? That’s just silly.
They mention that the main problem is ‘refugees’ walking across the border. The only walkable land borders Canada has are with the US. So these ‘refugees’ somehow got here first.
And in Canada, you must have a government ID to vote.
Why aren’t they called racists?
Canadian able bodied single person. Welfare payment per year. $12,144.
Refugee claimant. $28,920
Canadian senior citizen basic payment CPP and old age pension. $12,144
A difference of about $16,778 more for the refugee. I might add that the Canadian citizen who has worked thirty or forty years at low wages is the hardest hit. Different if they worked for an industry or the civil service and had a retirement pension.
Canadians appeared to be just as concerned about illegal immigration as their American neighbors, according to the poll, which was conducted between March 8-9. Some 48 percent said they supported increasing the deportation of people living in Canada illegally.
When asked specifically about the recent border crossings, the same number - 48 percent - said Canada should send these migrants back to the U.S. Another 36 percent said Canada should accept these migrants.
The term illegal refugees assumes there are also legal refugees. So which is it?
That is a great idea!
Once tourists stop visiting Hawaii, we can call it Detroit of the South Pacific.
