What am I missing? How else can Congress or the Executive branch control or stop some of these crazy judicial decisions?

https://saylordotorg.github.io/text_the-legal-and-ethical-environment-of-business/s05-the-court-system.html

Finally, Congress can control the judiciary by determining how the courts are organized and what kind of cases the courts can hear. After the 1800 presidential election, for example, the newly elected Congress canceled the Supreme Court’s term for the entire year while they reorganized the judiciary. More recently, several conservative members of Congress have suggested splitting up the liberal-leaning Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on the West Coast, to reduce its influence. The Constitution also gives Congress the authority to determine the courts’ jurisdiction. Congress has used this authority in the past to take away controversial cases from judicial consideration. During Civil War Reconstruction, for example, Congress passed a law taking away the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction to hear an appeal from a newspaper publisher jailed for publishing articles opposing Reconstruction.Ex parte McCardle, 74 U.S. 506 (1869). Recently, Congress did the same thing, removing federal court jurisdiction from hearing appeals involving detainees held at the military prison in Guantanamo Bay. In the recent past, members of Congress have also introduced legislation prohibiting federal courts from hearing cases about the public display of religion and flag burning or from using any foreign law as support for their decisions.

Surly you are joking! The Repubs are the only party that talks a strong good game on the campaign trail, shows up in the District of Corruption and IMMEDIATELY loses their spine and set of ba$$s and cowers under their desks.

My guess. They all have had their conversations etc “ surveilled” and are held captive to exposure and expulsion by the cabal that passes for a freely represented country.

The Donald is a real threat to expose all of this and we are seeing it play out before our eyes .

The MSM has declared war on Trump. They hate him. What I find amusing is how they are trying to stop Trump from tweeting to his 30 million followers, thereby circumventing the MSM by going directly to the people. And the MSM must cover the tweets, which make news that they can't control. They even have conducted polls to show that the majority of the public want Trump to stop his tweets or at least, tone them down and reduce the number.

The MSM were livid at the WH press briefing the other day when Spicer read them a long list of news stories from the so-called MSM giants, reporting the "wiretapping" of Trump. Now, when Trump says he was wiretapped, the MSM demands evidence. They must either repudiate their own reporting or admit that Trump has a point. LOL.

The Rep investigating the leaks is now backing off the statement Trump was not hacked. Lots of weasel words about how Flynn was listened into and leaked.

When any of them speak I watch their eyes and how they look at each other, even with a slight glance, so they know they are keeping on their “ Clintonian parsing”

Isn’t Ann Coulter correct? Just get rid of it. Let 90% buy their own insurance from the free market and then decide to do about the other 10%?

Even Sessions can’t bring himself to comprehend that Trump included electronic surveillance in his umbrella term “wiretap”.

However the President has alluded to the fact that his original tweet embraced that term with quotation marks, so as to include all forms of surveillance.

The RATagandists all suspiciously avoid that "inconvenient truth".

..That’s the information that was collected. Leaked by the intelligence community who weren’t ordered by President Obama to monitor Trump and Trump tower....

So we multiple (??) crews of insubordinate intelligence crews running around with sophisticated surveillance tools and unknown motives>and NOBODY is interested and concerned!

This whole healthcare thing is so sad.

What’s sad is half (counting dead people and illegals) of voting America fell for the ‘magic negro’ not once but twice.

Then there’s Ryan,McCain,Snow,Graham...and an assortment of self serving sell out RINOs.

Ugh!

There is no doubt that Congress has the power to rein in the judiciary as part of its Constitutional authority. No branch should be above the other, which is why we have checks and balances on all of them in the Constitution.

The problem is that Congress will not take the needed actions to confront an out of control judiciary.

“The issue is how such transcripts or notes ever got out to the public.”

I don’t think that anyone in the White House would be so stupid as to give it out. Too easy to find out who did it.

Thanks very much, you are really into this one.If you would, do you mind giving us an overall view as you see it. Where the UN refugee program has been, where it is today, and where will it go.

My biggest worry is bringing in individuals who are nearly or completely unvetted to the point where we don't even know their names.Would you give us your take?

Personally, I do not know of anyone taking a laptop home to continue their work.

From my home laptop, I log into Corporate with the prescribed security protocol.
When I travel to another office, I use one of their computers.

I do not need to shelp a laptop around during business travel

I’m trying. It’s obvious I get some stuff wrong or don’t completely cover it all or leave this or that out but I still try.

We have 80 million on Medicaid and 45 million on Medicare, both single payer systems. Obamacare was supposed to be the transition to single payer for all. He said so himself. The Dems knew that Obamacare would implode. Hillary would have then presented the solution: Go to single payer for all. Problem solved.

Three quarters of the 14 million people who got coverage thru Obamacare were added to the Medicaid rolls. Medicaid doesn't guarantee access to the healthcare system. 40% of doctors do not accept Medicaid patients because the reimbursement levels are so low. Our emergency rooms continue to be healthcare clinics for the uninsured (many of them illegal aliens) and those recipients who find it difficult to locate a doctor who will accept them.
