No, I've been teaching for 13 years now in Los Angeles, and I can tell you, we only have two campus aids on the clock at all times, and they have to patrol the entire campus. They can't just hang out in/near the bathrooms. Besides, there are four bathrooms, so while they are in one, something could be going down in the other. And while they are checking the bathrooms, something's going down behind the gym. And while they are behind the gym, something's going down in the stacks in the library. Or in the cafeteria. Really, to run a school full of teenagers and keep it all under decent control, you need about 20 armed guards prowling around as if it were a juvenile detention facility.

I'm not disagreeing with anyone here about whether illegals should be here, by the way. They shouldn't be. I'm just saying, schools don't have enough staff to be everywhere at once. They didn't when I was young either. I got bullied in the girl's bathroom back in 1979 in an all-white small town, so I'd say that's the nature of having a building full of teenagers.
