For anyone who thinks Trumps victory last November signaled a marked shift to the Right in American politics:
According to a Fox News poll, Senator Bernie Sanders a self-styled democratic socialist is apparently the most popular politician in America.
Favorable ratings from Fox poll:
Bernie +29
Planned Parenthood +25
Warren +8
Pence +4
Obamacare +3
Trump -9

Sanders appeared this week at a town hall in McDowell County, West Virginia, the poorest county in the state, which voted 74 percent for Trump over Hillary Clinton.
Perhaps the audience represented the countys radical leftwing fringe, but its remarkable to watch how Sanders connected with people in a way that Clinton never could.

Ill admit I scoffed at the idea that Sanders could have defeated Trump if he had been the Democratic candidate for president last year. Now I wouldnt bet on it.

Hey Bernie, you two-faced commie puke, pay your fair share in taxes.
“Sanders a self-styled democratic socialist”
libs always have to hide what they really are and what they really want to do because the simple truth is if they were forthcoming with all of that they would be roundly rejected.
Any sane, objective citizen that believes polls, pundits and media buffoons is not wrapped too tight!!!
The people in McDowell County may be poor, but only a few of them are stupid enough to fall for Sanders’s warmed-over appeal for a Bolshevik revolution at the ballot box.
Bernie could have beaten Trump I believe. I do believe some of those in the blue wall, some of the Trump voting Democrats, would have voted for him. He also wouldn’t have had some of the gaffes, the tape, or the WikiLeaks to deal with. Trump won by 70,000 or so votes total in the blue wall states. Unfortunately, not everyone who voted for Trump did it because they liked him. They did it because they hated her. Trump’s populist message resonated, and Hillary had no message but that Trump sucks. However, Bernie drew large crowds to his events, and his anti-establishment message (which is a joke of course but people bought into) would have promised jobs plus government goodies, and that might have been enough for some people. Of course the polls were wrong for the election, and they may be off some now, but I don’t know how far they are off. This is Fox News. Trump’s approval ratings are suffering right now, even in favorable outlets like Rasmussen. I think people shouldn’t get to cocky in our victory because this is a fight, and we have everyone against us. We live in a culture saturated by liberalism, and it reflects when you see the ratings for Planned Parenthood who literally profits off of killing babies (people applaud them). The media is going to do their best, and the approval ratings I think reflect some of their work as anything positive he does is little reported, negative he does is over-reported, and things that are good are reported as negative.
