Flashback: Hillary Clinton Lies about Trump’s Tax Returns at First Debate

What a disgusting person! Hillary Clinton told Americans during the first presidential debate in September 2016 that Donald Trump did not pay taxes. For one, she had no way of legally obtaining this information. And, two, it was a complete lie like so many other things she said.

Hillary Clinton: First, maybe he’s not as rich as he says he is. Second, maybe he’s not as charitable as he claims to be. Or maybe he doesn’t want the American people, all of you watching tonight, to know that he’ paid nothing in federal taxes.

I’m sure they’ll give her the same pass they’re giving the New York Times and THEIR lies about Trump’s taxes...

Put Hillary in a rayon acetate suit and set her in an East Chicago parking lot covered w/ gravel.

She’ll make a good used car salesman.

I’m still waiting for the media to pick apart the Clintons tax returns.

Among the nuggets there are a $1 million donation by the Clintons to their own charity.

While apparently legal, it doesn’t exactly pass the smell test,to see the wealthy Clintons trim their tax bill by giving money to a “charity” which they directly control.

But the media have no interest in that sort of thing.

How many fact checkers did they hire to pore over Hilary’s book? Anywhere close to the 11 fact checkers who dissected Sarah Palin’s book???

My local Seattle news just reported that the 25% rate Trump paid is “much less” than many people who earn far less pay..... they had to twist themselves up bigly to come up with a negative spin!

Isn’t our country ready to get beyond the idea that the IRS can be used as a political bludgeon?

How can this be changed?

That’s the discussion we need. The IRS lost legitimacy when Lois Lerner and Koskinen failed to be properly punished for using government force against conservative groups. It is now just a political tool.

Did Hillary ask the IRS to Audit Trump during the Election ? Is the Audit the reason Gollum is still at the IRS ?

Of course she did.

As to why Gollum is still at the IRS, I am looking at a do-nothing White House and Congress.....

Who used charitable donations and bribes to a “foundation” while they were employed by the taxpayers to pay living expenses and fund their daughters wedding among other questionable spending?

Trump should say enough and take off the gloves - demand a full investigation and accounting of the Clinton foundation and take the facts already known and investigate them thoroughly to include interviews of persons involved in decisions during her tenure as Sec of State - overlay it with donations by parties seeking the decisions. Release it without comment and let the American people see for themselves what the media will not cover.

My local Seattle news just reported that the 25% rate Trump paid is “much less” than many people who earn far less pay..... they had to twist themselves up bigly to come up with a negative spin!

The median income in the US is $37,850.

A single person doesn't hit the 25% bracket until $37,650
A married couple doesn't hit it until $75,301

Factor in the personal exemption of $4050, and the standard deduction of $6300, that's $10,350.

That means a single person would have to make at least $48,001 before they even begin to touch the 25%. That's the upper 38.8%

Now, that person would pay a total of $5184
Just 10.8% of their income.

It would take an income for a single person, of $248,573, to pay 25% of their income, using the standard deduction and personal exemption.

Putting that person in the UPPER 98.5%

A married couple would have to make $96,051 before they even get to the 25% bracket.

It would take a married couple an income of $363,500, just using standard deductions to pay 25% of their income.
