Just as we predicted, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has released a report demonstrating that the “too-clever-by-half” approach of RINOcare will result in the worst possible outcome for insurance prices and coverage numbers.
It’s clear that by exacerbating the death spiral of the existing failed market before 2020, the political reality will ensure that even the minor reforms implemented to Medicaid and the exchange subsidies in 2020 will never occur.
And the disaster will all be blamed on a wrongly-perceived Obamacare repeal bill instead of Obamacare itself. Full repeal is the only solvent way forward.

I respectfully disagree.
Obamacare insured millions of people, who were otherwise out of luck.
Our insurance companies did not want to cover them.
Repeal is not the only alternative.
Full repeal cannot be done. CAN NOT BE DONE. Why is it that so many either are ignorant or just not thinking. It takes 60 votes in the Senate and we will never get that with the communists Democrats. So what do we do?

Disagree with your disagree. Most of that was additional medicare, not Obamacare, if I remember correctly.
And I see no accounting of how many lost their insurance. You know, those folks who liked their insurance, and could keep their insurance.

They need to be able to sell catatrosphic policies nationwide to individuals.
We need to end forcing people to buy a product they do not want.
End govt imposed penalties.
But if you dont have insurance and accrue a mountain of debt, you either get only very basic care, or the hospitals can take anything of value to recover costs. Or they refuse care.
So, what happens when we're all out of luck?
Socialism makes it worse for everybody. There will always be people in bad situations as you're rightfully concerned about.
The problem is socialism puts more people in that category.
The alternative to government charity is private charity.
Capitalism and free markets have always worked best.
And there will still be folks w/the short end of the stick, so to say, as well as tragedies.
THAT will bring down the costs of getting ill significantly.
many of the “millions” you mention are young healthy young adults added to their parents plans and those who were forced to buy insurance that didn't want it.
One of the worst things (and there are MANY) about Obamacare is that is distorted what insurance IS.
Insurance is not FREE MEDICAL CARE.
Insurance ... is INSURANCE against the unimaginable ! it's supposed to protect you in CATASTROPHIC cases, it's not suppose to pay for your abortion, your condoms, or your Viagra.
Those too poor to pay for their medical care have ALWAYS received care, period.
It was passed without 60 votes so it can be repealed without 60 votes.
The Democrats have abused the filibuster. Nuke it!
They key is getring more people into long term good paying jobs. There are too many takers and fakers and not enough makers. Just my opinion.

According to the Senate rules, not the Constitution. McConnell can imitate Harry Reid and just dispense with the 60 vote rule.
Looks like the health care for the entire population is constrained by the theoretical 20 million newly insured. And they get it mostly at taxpayer expense.

A voice of Sanity finally, I have been saying this forever. I actually pay for my health care when I need it.
I wish I could get a Major Medical plan still, but Obama outlawed it.
