Shots were fired outside the Ferguson Market on Sunday after new footage was aired on CNN of Michael Brown on the day he was shot.
Police officers were asked to come the Ferguson Market around 10:45 p.m. to help control the crowd, the department said.
Police believe people gathered at the market because of the release of the documentary Stranger Fruit.
Brown was shot and killed after he was stopped by police officer Darren Wilson and attacked Wilson. The left has long held that the Brown shooting was an example of systemic police racism, while the Brown autopsy suggests otherwise.
The new footage "casts doubt" on the claim that Brown robbed the market prior to his fatal shooting. Video was released of Brown shoving the clerk in the market and the clerk reported a robbery to the police.
Here's the footage from the market on the day Brown was shot:
CNN describes the new footage:
The video, filmmaker Jason Pollock argues, suggests that Brown didn't rob the store but was instead involved in a drug deal with the clerks. The robbery allegation is what led to the confrontation between police and Brown, which resulted in Brown being killed by Officer Darren Wilson.
In the video, Brown, 18, appears to give the clerks a small bag. The clerks then give Brown a bag with cigarillos, which he takes, but he then turns around and gives it back to them before leaving.
The film suggests Brown did not return later that day to rob the store but rather to get the bag back.
The St. Louis County Police told CNN they "cannot confirm its authenticity at this time. If it did occur, the incident is still irrelevant to our investigation because our department investigated the encounter between Michael Brown and Darren Wilson."
Idiot attacked a cop and subsequently assumed room temperature.
It should have never been anything more than that except that some other idiots wanted to burn down and loot.
I’m confused. He didn’t rough up the clerk because he was stealing but because he was dealing drugs. And that makes him a saint because????
For those not familiar with the reference, “Strange Fruit” is a classic jazz song by (popularized by?) Billie Holliday about Klan-era lynchings:
“Southern trees bear strange fruit
Blood on the leaves and blood at the root
Black bodies swinging in the southern breeze
Strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees
“Pastoral scene of the gallant south
The bulging eyes and the twisted mouth
Scent of magnolias, sweet and fresh
Then the sudden smell of burning flesh
“Here is fruit for the crows to pluck
For the rain to gather, for the wind to suck
For the sun to rot, for the trees to drop
Here is a strange and bitter crop”
Because, of course to the left that has something to do with Ferguson.
Doesn’t take much to stir up the street savages. Especially when there’s a neo-communist agitator stirring them up, paid by the soros crowd.

Nailed it. When OUR government starts focusing on ALL the people instead of a select few we will be better off. Because that select few will always be angry about something and to be paid to voice that anger is just the icing on the cake. I am sick of rolling over for the whiners who won’t accept responsibility and move on.
Stores have had time to restock in Ferguson. Time to loot again.
The video I saw on the web that CNN was showing appeared to be at night and Brown had different clothes on. In any event, whether he was stealing, drug dealing or beating up the store owner, what difference does it make as to his encounter with the officer?
CNN is the enemy of the people plain and simple
The song was written by Abel Meeropol, a Communist who would later adopt the children of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg after they were executed for being Soviet spies. The instrumental accompaniment was provided by the house band at the Cafe Society, a Communist nightclub in New York City. Nevertheless, the tune was a hit in 1939.
sounds like it was the clerk that was dealing drugs
Brown already was in possession of 4 felony arrests in his 18th year. His juvenile record was concealed from the public. He was just another savage and received his just reward.
It makes NO difference, just like NO difference he committed strong armed robbery at the store on the day of his justifiable shooting
Wasn’t contact initiated because Brown was walking in the street? I thought Wilson was ignorant of the robbery call at the time.
Digging this up now is nothing more than the Soros machine trying to manufacture more social unrest to occupy the news cycles.
On one hand, these events are potentially important lessons, but that of course assumes there is a body of people capable of learning something.
I never want to hear about Ferguson, or Michael Brown again.
