Yet again this weekend, “Saturday Night Live” trotted out Alec Baldwin doing a Donald Trump impression for its cold open. And yet again, that wasn't even close to its harshest political sketch.
That distinction this week was reserved for “Complicit,” a faux Ivanka Trump perfume ad that is liable to really ruffle some feathers.
The conceit is pretty clear: As the most outspoken woman closest to Trump, she is complicit in the things he does — and for not doing something about it.

I'm old enough to remember when the most "news" about SNL was the groundbreaking satire of Dana Carvey as the Church Lady. That made it to one article in Time Magazine, at best.
The mainstream media has blurred the line between entertainment and reality. Whether that is intentional or a symptom of these times, is an exercise for the reader. In any case, the mainstream press is way past the point of discerning real life from fantasy... and that alone screams that it can in no way be trusted.
I used to never, ever miss SNL. Now? Not so much.
Well, they were awfully hard on Chelsea Clinton and the 0bama brats, weren’t they? No? Then to hell with them.
I never watch it, but did SNL ever make fun of Zero or Michael or their “kids?”
In other news, a fifth grader at Oak Lane Elementary school, made fun of a fourth grader for wearing brand new shoes...
There needs to be a rivaling show that happens the same hours as Saturday Night Live, but makes fun of liberals and liberal SNL skits themselves.
Nope.
SNL is a “comedy” program for libtards.
Remember the cutting edge comedy about Malaria and Sasquatch Obama?
Who cares? This is just the liberal establishment talking to itself - no one else watches or cares.
I hope this backfires on them, like the clothing boycott has backfired on the Grab Your Wallet witch.
In case some conservatives didn’t know Ivanka sells perfume, now every article about this SNL skit will have to mention that Ivanka has a perfume line. Maybe a spike in sales will make them reconsider evil attacks like this.

Can't say too much anymore about the magazine that inspired it though. Bill Gaines may have been a liberal but he did stay committed to mocking everybody equally.

That’s a great idea! They should do a Jonny Quest-type where Al Gore travels the globe in his fuel-guzzling Gore One going from one climate “crisis” to another lecturing people about saving energy while using every energy-wasting and plastic electronic gadget and machine imaginable. He can a sidekick named “H1B”.
