It’s not an invasion, it’s an augmentation. Marines can be deployed without congressional approval for no longer than 60 days as long as Congress is notified of the deployment.

It is clear that Erdogan’s aim in Syria is NOT to Kill ISIS, But to Kill Kurds. Headshake.
++++
You are correct about that. For Erdogan the enemy is our best partner, the Kurds. We also know Erdogan wants Assad out.

So it should be obvious to all that ISIS is more friend than foe in the eyes of the Turks.

No sir. W#e cannot enter a sovereign nat6ion with our military without that nations invitation. We have no such invitation so this is blatant aggression in blatant violation of fundamental international law. I am deeply dissapointed in Trump. We are absolute invaders!!http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/11/middleeast/syria-conflict-isis-us-military/

There’s more wisdom in Assad than the whole CIA/NSA deep state.

Wise? May be.

Assad is not one of the good guys. I remember what the Assads did to Lebanon.

Provided previously:

A perfect indication of Erdogan’s alliance with the Muslim Brotherhood occurred in 2011 and the presence of every major Ikhwan leader at the funeral of his mentor Nekmattin Erbakan.
They included Turkish President Abdullah Gul.
Mohamed Mahdi Akef, former Supreme Guide of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood.
Rachid Ghannouchi, Tunisia’s leading politician and Muslim Brother.
Ibrahim Mounir. Muslim Brotherhood leader living in exile in the UK.
Youssef Nada, self-described foreign minister of the Muslim brotherhood.
Ghaleb Himmat, business partner of Youssef Nada.
Ibrahim Al-Masri, Lebanese Muslim Brotherhood leader.
Mustafa Mohammed Tahan, Secretary-General of the International Islamic Federation of Student Organizations (IIFSO).
Ahmed Abdel-Aty, Secretary-General of the IIFSO
Ibrahim el-Zayat, a Federation of Islamic Organizations In Europe (FIOE) official. Zayat was for years the head of the Islamische Gemeinschaft Deutschland (IGD) and thus the representative of the Muslim Brotherhood in Germany. He is married to Sabiha El-Zayat, the sister of Mehmet Sabri Erbakan, the nephew of Necmettin Erbakan.
Ayman al-Ali, FIOE;
Chakib Makhlouf, President of FIOE.
Ali Bayanouni, former Comptroller General of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria.
Mohammed Nazal, Hamas official in Syria.
Qazi Hussain Ahmed, Amir of the Pakistani Jammat-e-Islami.

We can enter any damn Country we want to enter...ESPECIALLY WHEN THAT COUNTRY IS SUPPORTING OUR ENEMY.

International Law is subordinate to America’s self defense. Anyway Anytime Anyhow.

You can enter it— you just can’t enter legally. I guess you are alright with the Chinese army helping Black Lives matter in Chicago. By the way— SYRIA DOES NOT SUPPORT OUR ENEMY,right?
Our enemy is Isis!!! Syria and the Russians are killing Isis.Show me I am wrong with fact and not bravado. We need to GET OUT until we are invited by the sovereign government of Syria under fundamental international law.

International Law does not trump America’s Self Defense. The USA will not ask for permission from anyone or anything to defend itself by whatever means the USA feels necessary.

International law would have Israel surrender to the moslums.
International law would have the USA maintain an open border.
International law is made by other countries which would rather steal from US than help US. It is bogus law. Break International Law and what happens? Nothing, ask Iran, ask Russia, ask China, ask North Korea, ask Cuba.

Syria is and has been our enemy since the 1960s
Iran has been our enemy since the 1980s
Russia is helping both of these enemy terrorist sponsoring countries.
We don’t need Russian help to destroy ISIS or Syria or Iran.
What we need
is to Nuke them to hell, then ask if anyone else wants to dance.

Kill the first 10 percent and the rest will follow.

Thank you for your service but I can tell you don’t have a clue about Syria ( “Self Defense”???) or international law so good luck.

Thanks for the good luck, it’s always a good thing to have plenty of.
But lets touch on that Self Defense ....do you remember the Marine Barracks bombing. 241 Marines and others died and that attack was backed by Assad’s daddy in Syria with support of Iran. If a Country attacks you it is very doubtful they will invite you in to attack them although in this case Syria would love for US to attack their enemies.

otoh....that place is a cauldron of bubbling ingredients and most of those ingredients are our enemies. I tend to think that more tit for tat, pin prick targeted hi-value strike warfare is just going to get us more of the same results we have been getting for decades. I think a 24 hour warning then a leveling of Raqqa would set a much need different tone.
Thanks for the give and take.
Good luck to you too. Viva Trump.
