Suprise! A Cruzlim steps out of the shadows with a suicide vest on!

Don't even start with that BS. You know that's not true.

Bannon has repeatedly made the case that when Trump disappoints in policy, the deplorables must speak out and push back.

It is clear why he has felt the need to communicate that.

Exactly.

This hints at why I was not a fan of Trump from the beginning. But he’s turned out much better than I expected, and if he eliminates the mandates, I’m happy.

I mean, western culture is going down soon anyway, no matter how you slice it, and Trump is not the second coming. But I seriously love how he makes the left squirm.

At least, when all of this comes crashing down, the left will have finally been exposed. Of course, it’s also what Revelation mentions.;-)

So, it’s official - we get to call it Trumpcare?

The other side already is.

No Ryanrinocare. Period end of story.

Ryan and the GOPe are spreading their BS live on TV right now. Stu Varney is quarterbacking the GOPe from his seat on Fox Business. "This Bill MUST Pass!" "It cannot wait!"

The Swamp must ALWAYS pass a bill NOW. Hurry! Hurry! And we the people get screwed.

“overhaul” Hmmm. I don’t remember that word during the campaign.

The word "overhaul" is NOT quoted in the article.

That is the Washington Times word, NOT Kellyanne's or Trump's.

I agree.

There are three main things I want. 1) Abolish any penalties from the IRS at all for not having insurance, or insurance that doesn’t fit Obama’s Gold, Silver and Pewter plans - horsesh!t, IMO, 2) Remove any and all government taxes on anything related to healthcare enacted by Obamacare, and 3) Remove restrictions on health insurers from operating across state lines and able to offer country-wide insured pools.

Good post, but I would replace #3. I don't know why it gets so much play in these discussions, but it is so far down the list of priorities for two reasons: (1) it goes against the whole idea of state oversight under the Tenth Amendment; and (2) it isn't going to save the consumer much money at the end of the day anyway.

I like my four "must-have" items better (in order):

1. Eliminate the individual and employer mandates.

2. Eliminate any Federal mandates that require insurance coverage for any medical procedure or treatment.

3. Give insurance companies back the ability to impose lifetime limits on coverage.

4. Eliminate any requirement for insurers to cover pre-existing conditions.

Item #1 goes right to the heart of what made ObamaCare such an authoritarian abomination. Items #2 through #4 would enable insurance companies to offer coverage that is actually affordable.

I don’t like the bill either, but the hard reality is that with 52 Republicans and probably 10 of them being RINOs, a full repeal bill would never pass the Senate. The best hope is that this turd bill is marked up as conservatively as possible to pass both houses. Full repeal is probably going to require a larger Republican majority.

-This televised “Mark-up” Meeting going on at C-span at this moment is a total waste of time. The Dems are just up on their soap boxes with their protestations once again. NAUSEATING!

Same old song and dance every time. There is NO reason not to push for full repeal. The House and Senate have already past it once. It's not like they have to reinvent the wheel, just put the old bill back in the hopper. The base has delivered over and over for the GOP and this is at the top of the to do list single every time.

What are you talking about? I support what Trump has been doing. Don’t dismiss me as an anti-Trumper, jerk.

While running for office, Trump did say many things that indicated he’s in favor of single-payer health insurance/care. And he said them more recently tan 2015. On Jan. 15, 2017, for example, he said that he would “take care of everybody” and that “the government’s gonna pay for it.”

I am not criticizing President Trump. I am just saying that we shouldn’t be surprised when he is following through on a promise he’s made.

Thanks for posting that. It’s amazing to see so many going off half cocked when they haven’t watched the press briefing yesterday and don’t know what’s going on.
