Q: What is the goal of A Day Without a Woman?
A: The goal is to highlight the economic power and significance that women have in the US and global economies, while calling attention to the economic injustices women and gender nonconforming people continue to face. We play an indispensable role in the daily functions of life in all of society, through paid & unpaid, seen & unseen labor.
We must have the power to control our bodies and be free from gender norms, expectations and stereotypes. We must free ourselves and our society from the constant awarding of power, agency and resources disproportionately to masculinity, to the exclusion of others.
We must end the hiring discrimination that women, particularly mothers, women of color, women with disabilities, Indigenous women, lesbian, queer and trans women still face each day in our nation. We believe that creating workforce opportunities that reduce discrimination against women and mothers allow economies to thrive. Nations and industries that support and invest in caregiving and basic workplace protectionsincluding benefits like paid family leave, access to affordable childcare, sick days, healthcare, fair pay, vacation time, and healthy work environmentshave shown growth and increased capacity.
We believe in Gender Justice and the protection of the human rights of gay, lesbian, bi, queer, trans, Two-Spirit and gender nonconforming people.
We believe in an economy powered by transparency, accountability, security and equity.
We believe that all workers must have the right to organize and fight for a living minimum wage, and that unions and other labor associations are critical to a healthy and thriving economy for all...

The "Day Without A Woman" manifesto is strongly pro-union, pro-abortion, pro-Islam, pro-homosexual/transgender, pro-illegal immigration, and pro-sex workers' rights. One of the lead organizers is Rasmea Yousef Odeh, convicted murderer in the 1969 terror bombing that killed two Israelis. She was released ten years later in a prisoner exchange. Just one more example of the left and Islamists working hand-in-hand.
American women have more rights than any other nation on earth. They are protected by Law and by a Christian culture committed to women's rights. No women in America are forced into marriage, religion, hijabs, or clitoridectomies. Unlike all Islamic countries, beating your wife is forbidden in America, and current statistics show that there is no gender wage gap between men and women. Why is this march not held in Saudi Arabia? Or Iran? Jordan? Indonesia?
Oh...Planned Parenthood is also one of the big organizers. Is Planned Parenthood showing their true colors in supporting the Islamic subjugation of women?
Maybe we should have a day without men, where all men go on strike. /sarc
Men represent a higher percentage of makers, and women represent a high percentage of takers.
I’m a woman and I plan to carry on as usual tomorrow.
This event should be renamed “Day Without a Whiny Liberal Feminazi”.
Think of all the cats that will starve tomorrow. The horror.
They should call it like it really is: A Day without a Leftard Woman.
“...the economic injustices...gender nonconforming people continue to face.”
Gotta get that tiresome BS in there even if it’s not a “woman’s issue”. Every prog I hear lately squeezes it into their rant, regardless of the actual subject.
Except men still run the world.
You forgot to mention it is led by a convicted terrorist and supporter of sharia law (obviously):
RASMEA YOUSEF ODEH
Yes im pulling my 7 and 10 year old daughters out of school so they can attend this historic march. They look so adorable in their matching burkas
Three months in and nobody noticed they weren't around.
Who is the Freeper in back??
I wonder how many of these women who show up to this are employed, and if they are....they are the ones who wont be missed. They expect a LOT, not effort based, but entitled.
Trust me, the men (& a lot of women) will be dancing in the streets.
Oops you did mention it. Sorry.
Maybe dems will run RASMEA YOUSEF ODEH against Trump in 2020
My wife’s birffday......
We believe in Gender Justice and the protection of the human rights of gay, lesbian, bi, queer, trans, Two-Spirit and gender nonconforming people.
Gender Justice?? And what is a Two Spirit?
Maybe they could wear some of those funky pink knit hats on top of their burkas?
I wouldn’t be caught dead with the stupid women in the p hats marching for victim status.
Where are all the boys gonna be hanging. That will be much more fun!
This crap hasn’t already happened yet?
