I am merely pointing out that we do not “know” what happened based upon the video. The thread led off asserting that we “know” Trump based his tweets upon Comey.
I’m happy to speculate and infer and guesstimate as much as anyone here. I just like to keep clear on what we “know” for sure vs. what we believe, suspect, hope or fear might be true, etc.
We know if this guy was truthful, of course that is always the case

WH visitors’ logs would be useful, but still would not prove anything about what was or was not said. Comey needs to go on the record, in detail, under oath. I hope one or more of the Congressional committees is contemplating this right now.
Well, I have to ask, if the guy is lying, he must know Comey Visited right before the tweets.
Because we will be able to validate this point at least.
This is a statement of fact that can be verified.
I’m not suggesting that Klein is “lying” about anything at all. He has sources who may or may not be 100% accurate on everything they say, but who may not know all that transpired between Comey and Trump. I’m not imagining that Comey did NOT talk with Trump in the days before the tweets. Let’s assume for the moment that they talked, and maybe even talked on Friday.
But even if Comey and Trump met Friday that would not mean that Comey is the main or specific source for Trump’s specific tweets. Comey might have been cagey, might not have told Trump all he knows, we don’t know what Comey’s real game is yet. I’d like to hope that Comey is a good team player for the Trump admin. but I don’t think we know that yet. Presumably Trump has quite a variety of sources on myriad subjects. Someone other than Comey may have been the one to give Trump specific info and confidence needed to make the assertions we saw in those tweets.
NY Times says today that Comey is pushing behind the scenes for a DOJ statement to counter Trump’s tweets. I certainly don’t trust the NY Times on anything, but I’m simply saying we don’t yet “know” what Comey’s role is here.
NY Times, look how they are trying to stress that he wants them to push back that Obama didn’t order the wiretaps.
He is going to the Justice Department, so even if they don’t release something to the press, they will say it was because Trump/Sessions stopped them.
