The claim Russia interfered in the election was the cover story to conceal the Obama House/Deep State surveillance of the Trump campaign
Back on 10th October 2016, shortly after the US intelligence community published its first claim that Russia was trying to interfere in the US election, I wrote an article for The Duran in which I pointed out that the true story was that for the first time in its history the US intelligence community was interfering in a US election in order to swing the election behind its favoured candidate – Hillary Clinton – and that the practices the US intelligence community had honed to interfere in elections in other countries were now being imported to the US.
In an article for The Duran on 31st October 2016 – just a week before the election – I said that Hillary Clinton and her supporters had a planted a bomb under US democracy by orchestrating a campaign claiming that her opponent Donald Trump was the favoured candidate of Russia, and that the result would be that if Donald Trump were elected his legitimacy as President would be challenged.
In a further article for The Duran on 10th December 2016, in the fraught run up to the inauguration and whilst the Democrats and the Hillary Clinton campaign were actively lobbying electors on the Electoral College to disregard the results of the election and to vote against Donald Trump, I said that the CIA and the US intelligence community by playing up the paranoia against Russia were engaging in what amounted to a coup against the country’s constitutionally elected President. The word ‘coup’ is now also being used by people like Mark Levin to describe what has been happening.

As someone else commented, this is Watergate writ large. It has weak legs, though, because Watergate as a damaging phenomenon depended on the MSM drumbeat telling the voters night and day that it was ILLEGAL and UNCONSSTITUTIONAL and EVIL and a CONSPIRACY by the PRESIDENTt against the PEOPLE! MSM is on the other side of this one and it becomes HEROIC RESISTENCE to MUSSOLINI or even HITLER REDUX. The Republicans will resist investigating and are averse to putting their former boss (well, the boss’s agent) in jail. If Trump goes for it then all is good but I would hope that the max effort is expended in simply weeding the garden severely and going after the Pizza Party. The Pizza scandal alone has the potential of cleaning out the government of corrupt bureaucrats and electees. The problem is finding enough untainted talent to get it done. If that all can be done then this leakage and MSM hoorah about it becomes an obscure footnote to the Trump Phenomenon.
A single thumb drive can store millions of documents and can be hidden anywhere.
They know a world of hurt is going to be laid on them by Trump, and they're trying to get ahead of the storm.
The fake-news MSM is trying to help them in every possible way. I'm not sure it will be enough, though.
You'll know they're crying "uncle" when they start whining about how "Trump is piling on." That'll be the signal.
With all the left wing protesting and violence trump needs to call on Obama to denounce his supporters.

There are to many other sources for news now LSM doesn’t matter anymore, Watergate was when the only source for news was the LSM!!! They NO LONGER have that power and the PROOF of their loss of power IS TRUMP WON regardless of their constant EVERY minute of EVERY day BASHING of Trump!!!
And Bernie voters know what a RAT-roughing up looks like, when this all is in the sunshine, they will vote Trump 2020 just to keep the Swamp from re-constituting.

1. Obama and the Dems, having lost control of the White House, Justice and ultimately the Intelligence Community, realize that the Trump Wiretap Story will become public.
2. That story is potentially extremely damaging to the Party, Obama and Hillary.
What would you do if you were Obama and the Dems?
Easy answer: Do everything you can think of to support the idea that the wiretaps were a legitimate national security activity and not an excuse to eavesdrop on the Trump Campaign.
What are we witnessing: Exactly what is described above.

If Obama and Hillary were sure she had enough legal and illegal votes to win all the swing states, why did Obama wire tap Trump’s computer at Trump Tower? Did they intend to blackmail him with bogus Russia information after the election? Inquiring minds want to know what their motivation was.
