This is a lot of ‘concern’ from someone who joined FR on November 8, 2016. Just sayin’....

[Why does he have to keep going to Mar a Lago?!]

Is it because Mar a Lago the only place that isn’t bugged?

It does cost him and the taxpayers a fortune every time he goes. I hate to admit it but he is on track to to spend a lot more time and money on vacations than zer0 did.

I know! Why, those Florida flights cost SO much more than the flights to South Africa! And when Trump flies AF1 back and forth to fetch his dog!

Oh, wait, that was Obama...

You really want to try that line?

The Smearing of Jeff Sessions
The American Spectator ^ | March 2, 2017 | By George Neumayr

Posted on 3/4/2017, 4:34:29 PM by Brad from Tennessee

Craven Republicans, looking for a pat on the head from the mainstream media, can always be counted on to echo its idiotic demands. The phony controversy over the Trump campaign’s imaginary ties to Putin is the latest pitiful example of this phenomenon.

Instead of exposing the hyper-partisanship behind this media obsession, these Republicans are humoring it. We hear from them craven calls for a “special prosecutor” to investigate and demands that attorney general Jeff Sessions submit to one because he had, in his capacity as a senator, a grand total of two unimportant encounters with the Russian ambassador. How shocking. Who knew that senators and ambassadors from major countries with whom we have diplomatic relations interact? Extraordinary.

To the hyperventilating twits on Morning Joe, Ted Cruz made the obvious point: “What we are seeing is a lot of political theater. This morning, everyone is in high dudgeon about the meeting. The underlying meeting is a nothing burger. It’s what senators do every day. Meeting with foreign ambassadors, that’s part of the job. I think everyone is getting all worked up because it’s a chance to beat up the attorney general and to beat up the president.”

The media coverage of this nontroversy has been nothing short of Kafkaesque, with heavy-breathing headlines about Sessions failing to “disclose” his meetings with the ambassador. . .

Even tho Jeff is the head cheese, there’s not much he can do by himself...All of his current lieutenants are Obama people...I hope they don’t have him over a barrel...

I hate to admit it but he is on track to to spend a lot more time and money on vacations than zer0 did.

It's not vacations.. it's not even weekends off since he always has a pretty full work schedule on weekends there.

How much do you think it cost us for Sparky to go golfing all the time (during the work week frequently too) and to host parties with rappers, celebrities, rock stars and so on for their own entertainment every weekend?

What did is cost us for Sparky to fly to California all the time so he could be on some comedy show (and slip in fundraisers while he was there)?

Michelle had a full time staff of 22 people, while Melanina will only have 10... that alone is saving us money, and I'm sure Trump is saving in lots of areas.

I don’t mind him recusing from a non-existent case, but I would hate if by doing so, he allowed an Obama minion to appoint a special prosecutor. Hopefully Sessions was smart enough to prevent that.

If Sessions was tapped, wouldn’t that make him one of the plaintiffs or at least a witness for the prosecution? Just asking, I’m not a lawyer and don’t play one on TV.

During Sessions’ presser the other day, he said he had spoken with WH counsel - that was the same day that Pres Trump was on the USS Gerald R. Ford.

He attended a Pubbie fundraiser with Gov Scott and I think Rubio on Friday.

He was at the WH last weekend for the Governor’s Ball

He attended the Red Cross Ball on a previous weekend (something he and Melania have done for a long time and IIRC it was a fundraiser for the RC).

I don’t recall specifics about the other visit, but I seem to recall it was to attend some sort of event or at least a rally near Tampa.

He works and is in meetings when he’s down there.
