A DeKalb County theater will not be showing the new "Beauty and the Beast" film when it is released because it features a gay character.
The Henagar Drive-In Theatre posted on its Facebook page Thursday night that it would not show the film when it is released later this month, due to it featuring Disney's first gay character.
"If I can't sit through a movie with God or Jesus sitting by me then we have no business showing it," a post on the theater's Facebook page said.
The theater has since deleted its Facebook page.

Look at that massive swath of red across America this latest election. That is where the majority of movie audiences are, not that tiny blue enclave on the California coast.

I hope this film is rated R. If not, Disney is engaging in child abuse, IMHO.

I don’t think the theaters should have. They should have presented it as any other Disney Animation.
Now, instead of having low ratings because people weren’t just interested they’ll blame big bad right wing movie theaters.
We would not want anything undue going on at a drive-in movie theater.
The LGBTQ bunch will sue claiming discrimination, just like the wedding cake and the flowers for same-sex weddings.
I was going to watch it eventually, as the live action Cinderella remake was well done. Will make do with the animated version.

B. They have the right to refuse to show any movie they wish.
C. If they had shown it the parents who innocently would have assumed that Disney equaled clean fun would have been outraged.

If a baker can be sued for declining to bake a pro-homosexual-marriage cake, why cannot a theater be sued for declining to exhibit a pro-homosexual movie?

My sister wouldn’t let me niece watch it when she found out and that was a while ago.

The homosexuals infiltrate and use all opinion-making groups they can. Cinema is definitely a huge opinion-making institution. They don’t care whether it’s going to be a commercial success. Those who pushed this project care about the propaganda project as a subsidized propaganda investment. Someone will have backed this one and they and the studio can write it off as a loss on their corporate taxes. It’s an investment not in pushing perversion and destroying Biblical mores.
