I’ve been saying this for awhile - particularly after my daughter was born.
Mom knows what to do. They have millions of years of experience. Men have been lost since the days of homesteading though.
Men have no idea what to do. We can’t just hunt and homestead, unless we’re rough and tumble men’s men from Alaska or something.
And those guys get all the tail. Are you kidding me ?
The factory was the first time in history that men were asked to abandon their traditional (And I mean millions of years of tradition) roles as biological men and turn into social men.
And for millions of men, they are simply lost. When my daughter was born I got back into hunting, gardening and getting outdoors to build stuff because I recognised that my life had been missing these things for .. Well, since I was born.
Truer than many realize.
Factories can mean manly collaboration. But management patterns probably could stand to be different to bring out that dynamic.
Just watch any group of red neck men gittn-er-done. Social per se isn’t foreign to the DNA. A particular mode of social may be.
Modern society has turned the concept of manhood upside down. You mention the factory. How about the office. And in other aspects of society, it seems like there's an all-out war to feminize men.
Yep. Not too many decades ago, men didn’t go to work for some corporation, or sit in some cubical half his entire life working for somebody they don’t even know.
They were hunting, growing food and building their own homes and improving their own lands with their own hands.
This is a whole new world and certainly not for the better in this regard. It’s no surprise most younger men nowadays seem like hyper sensitive feminized wimps.
