It just shows that a healthy family and a healthy society depends on men being the main bread winner. Enough with promoting “women’s rights.” It is time to affirm the place of men in both the family and in society.
But women did well?
Realty is they are single, as are the women. But they are still baby mommas and daddies.

My thoughts exactly. They think that its a new discvery that women love men that are financially stable ( have a job) with money to spend on them. This has been going on since the beginning of time.

Cowboys, with their land and livestock were and are probably the richest. I doubt broke cowbiys, ‘all hat no cattle’, were considered desirable.

There is a spiritual dimension to security as well. Actually the bible pretty squarely points at God for this purpose.
The trouble with a rich society like this one used to be, is that it starts to see its security in its riches, rather than the One who bestowed the riches.

Modern society has turned the concept of manhood upside down. You mention the factory. How about the office. And in other aspects of society, it seems like there's an all-out war to feminize men.
Boy I have to say that my son and his girlfriend and their young friends are all marrying, all beginning to reproduce, and all finding lives together.
Most are not factory guys, they all have specialized trades and skills, some common and some not. They are all focused on marriage and family either now or in their future.
George Gilder’s book “Men and Marriage” showed this a long time ago.

Everything we did for millions of years to support the entire planet is now illegal. Permits to burn wood, create machines, invent processes and provide hand to the mouth. It’s all gone.
A man’s civilized role has only been around for about 50 years. No wonder so many men are lost - they have only a romanticized picture of what their ancestors used to do day to day - They are now forging new paths right into ravines, rivers and quicksands.
It’s illegal to live as your ancestors.
Yep. Not too many decades ago, men didn’t go to work for some corporation, or sit in some cubical half his entire life working for somebody they don’t even know.
They were hunting, growing food and building their own homes and improving their own lands with their own hands.
This is a whole new world and certainly not for the better in this regard. It’s no surprise most younger men nowadays seem like hyper sensitive feminized wimps.
Jane Austen commented on it a time or two as well.
