In our county and state the government is doing everything they can to make it more difficult for people with septic tanks. Last month during the flooding we had millions of gallons of raw sewage from treatment plants spill into the bay. Septic tanks do not cause this kind of difficulty. But the local government still thinks that billions of dollars should be spent to extend sewers into rural areas.

Exactly, this is an act of biological war. When that crap and dangerous toxins dry out it will turn to dust and people in San Diego will be breathing it. Most, probably 90%, of Tijuana residents live in homes that are not hooked up to a sewage system. It goes down into the canyons, into Rio Tijuana and across the border to the ocean at Imperial Beach. The Mexicans are calling it the “Trump dump”. Ha ha ha, we have such funny neighbors (not).

This is probably the worst sewage spill in American history. Where is the national media? Please spread this news. The people of San Diego need help.

and to make it easier for their citizens to cross the river by providing floaters to step on. This was their attempt to stop the derogatory comment of “wet backs”.

I’m glad to see so much concern over untreated sewage going into the ocean.

Victoria, British Columbia continues as it always has, dumping all of its untreated sewage into waters shared with America:

http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/victorias-fight-over-treating-its-sewage-or-keep-pushing-it-raw-into-ocean-as-it-has-for-decades

That’s 21.6 million gallons of sewage a day, every day, always.

Why is Mexican sewage more of an outrage than Seattle or Canadian sewage?

local government still thinks that billions of dollars should be spent to extend sewers into rural areas.

The "public works" needs the revenue. Then there are all the nice kickback contracts to extend the lines and hook ups (which the owner is usually stuck with).

If there is no problem with sending a gift of sewage to the gringos there is no problem with the gringos returning the favor! Skip the wall at that part of the river and build a Dam. Turn Tiajuana into a Sewage holding basin. It will have the added advantage of making it difficult for illegals to cross along that section of the border.
