Now judges are helping illegal immigrants to escape the law?
An Oregon judge stands accused by federal prosecutors of assisting a Mexican national, who illegally crossed the border into the United States, to escape the clutches of immigration officials who were there to arrest him.
Diddier Pacheco Salazar, 22, appeared in the courtroom of Multnomah County Circuit Judge Monica Herranz on January 27 to plead guilty to driving while under the influence of intoxicants, according to KOIN 6 News.
But Salazar eluded arrest by the waiting Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents when he apparently left the courtroom by an exit reserved for court employees.
U.S. Attorney Billy Williams said the illegal immigrant couldn’t have done it on his own– he had to have had help.
And suspicion turned to Herring, a Hispanic.
“I thought it was inappropriate, I thought it was unprofessional,” Williams said. “I strongly believe that it just cannot happen again.”
But he said he can’t say for sure whether it was the judge, who was acting as a court referee at the time Salazar escaped.
“I don’t know exactly what the referee did inside the courtroom,” Williams said.
The court’s supervising judge told the station that the presence of ICE agents in a courtroom tends to create a chilling effect.
“We don’t quibble with the fact that they have a job to do,” Judge Nan Waller told KOIN in a phone interview. “However, it would be nice if they were not inside the courthouse.”
Williams said he understands that Judge Waller “would like courthouses to be sensitive in areas,” but “I think that’s unlikely” to happen.

Lock up the “judge” for adding an escape
Judge needs to be arrested for aiding and abetting. Pretty bad when a judge refuses to uphold the law, she isn’t fit to empty garbage cans.
Probably too much to expect a US Attorney from Oregon to charge and arrest this judge and anyone else under her supervision for obstruction, but that’s what should’ve happened.
Tar and feathering and “the rail” seem appropriate here.

The Bundys and their supporters have faced and are facing trial against federal charges that can put them away for decades merely for engaging in protest but the lefty guys like this judge or the Dakota pipeline protestors do far worse and excused if not applauded.
The part of justice centers/courthouses that contain the judges’ offices, etc. are usually locked so that you need a pass card or key fob to pass.
So Judge Monica actually opened the door to the restricted part of the courthouse and directed him to the exit for court employees?
Yeah, that would be a federal felony ... Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)
And so by aiding and abetting a criminal, does that mean that she personally takes all responsibility for all crimes that this law breaker and others like him might commit.
I say yes. She owns this and enough of the 10000 foot platitudes and no ownership nor responsibility. She OWNS THIS!
If I had been convicted of anything in this criminals courtroom I would expect an appeal immediately if not a complete acquittal.
This “judge” should be arrested.
Can this judge be removed, and if so how ,and by whom?
Tbe judge is just simply a racist. Only this time the robe is black.
Criminal charges should be filed.
So now how are Angelos who are defendants in her court supposed to believe they will be treated fairly? If the guy was a White illegal from Sweden would she have done the same? Hardly!
Lock her up and then deport her for letting Salad-Jar go.
