Sessions was NOT part of the trump 2016 campaign so he answered truthfully. He was a Senator who happened to support Trump which is his right.
That’s right. This is BS news.
I hate to say it....but if you take into consideration how much the Russian ambassador to the US travels around the country...attends parties and functions....there’s pretty good odds that at least 15,000 Americans this year will have a conversation with the guy. If you toss in his staff....then there’s around one million Americans who will end having a conversation this year with some Russian in the US. If someone wants to open up an investigation...it’d take decades to conclude just what happened for one single month on conversations.
Sessions was NOT part of the trump 2016 campaign so he answered truthfully. He was a Senator who happened to support Trump which is his right.
Another article stated that he talked to representatives of many foreign governments as part of his committee assignments.
This is more WaPo Fake News mudslinging!
True. Sessions was merely a Senator who supported Trump, not a “member of the campaign.”
It would’ve been prudent for him to clarify that he had met with the Russian ambassador as part of his Senate Committee to avoid any confusion, appearance of disception, harping opportunities from the left wingnuts...
