CNN host Chris Cuomo doubled down Monday on his controversial tweet from last week in which he said parents whose daughters do not want to see transgender boys' male genitalia in the locker should "teach tolerance."
Cuomo spoke with conservative commentator Ben Ferguson on CNN's "New Day" about a transgender wrestler in Texas, 17-year-old Mack Beggs, who was born female but identifies as a male and has been taking testosterone for over a year. The wrestler is still competing in the girl's division and won the Texas state championship over the weekend.
Ferguson argued that it was unfair to the other female wrestlers for Beggs to compete while taking testosterone, which is generally considered a performance enhancing drug.
"It is illogical to somehow imply that this kid is a victim because he decided to do something and change something and you have to change the entire sport around it," Ferguson said. "To say we have to change the entire way sports is done because of one person and their decision to do something is unrealistic."
Cuomo argued that Ferguson was wrong and even tweeted out a video of the exchange from his own Twitter account, writing that "‘tradition' is not a reliable measure for liberty. . ."

Anyone exposing themselves to my daughters are not going to have to worry if THEY are tolerant or not.

Perhaps the solution will be to rename washrooms penis and no penis, and go from there so to speak.
There would be no big call for urinals in the no penis washroom.
Whip out a penis in the no penis washroom and it’s sexual assault, whether you think you’re a boy or a girl, man or woman, or he goat or she goat.
This is basically what we understand from before the bizarro revolution, just changing the names. The symbols might get a bit raunchy.
But to be serious, this situation is a bridge too far and the left must realize that they have pushed things beyond the breaking point on this issue. I have compassion for those who have gender identity issues, but whatever the acceptable social responses to that may include, it cannot go so far as to allow biological men into women’s washrooms, that is asking for trouble on a grand scale as creeps (who may not have any gender issues) take advantage and stroll into the girl’s room to make advances. And as there would be no urinals there, either they do this in a private stall (so what’s the point) or out in the open (which is not generally done in the men’s room either).
Chris, just because President Trump can “double down” on things and win, doesn’t mean it’ll work for you.
It’s a good thing Chris can trade on his last name or he would be watching porn all day in his parents’ basement. The same is true of Chris Wallace.
