For eight long years, George W. Bush refused to criticize Barack Obama.
“I don’t think it’s good for the country to have a former president undermine a current president,” Mr. Bush explained to Fox News’s Sean Hannity in 2014, on why he refused to critique his successor’s policies. “I think it’s bad for the presidency, for that matter.”
Yet one month into President Donald Trump’s presidency, Mr. Bush decided it was OK to offer a critique of the former real estate mogul.

Odd how they took a single line out of an entire interview and then made the entire interview based on a singular comment into an entire article about a subject that is not true. One in which might I add is made up news. I did not see this as an attack on Trump.
Folks will buy into anything that stirs up opposition and I mean anything. The writer and article is ridiculous.
Bush is a class act. Why he didn’t jump on the phony during his eight years will remain one of life’s mysteries....or will it?

Bush has a book coming out, so will have plenty of chances to attack Trump some more (which he will do, given hes a Clinton supporter).

What gets me is the goofy SOB knows how hard it is to be president, and he’s of the same party, and he can’t say one decent thing about Trump or his cabinet or anything. He can go to H*ll.

What this putz and his family have done is to assure that I’m going to do everything in my power to influence my grand daughters to regard the name as Bush being the equivalent to a lying backstabbing politician and to never accept the name “Bush” as a candidate for anything.
What I HEARD Bush say, was hurtful to Trump—but it might help to sell a book!
I saw those interviews with Bush and I didn’t hear anything that could be considered as undercutting Trump. If anything, I think he took a shot at Obama for pulling the troops out of Iraq too early.

There was a time when former Presidents kept their mouths shut...except,possibly,for having written a book after leaving office.Bush didn't utter a peep while Obola was in office yet can't help but join the procession now that DJT's in office.
A class act would shut up *regardless* of who's in office,not just when a Rat is President.

I’ve really lost most of the respect I had for the Bush family over the last 2 years. In fact, I’m starting to suspect they outright snookered us. They are not very conservative at heart.
