What the churches are trying to do probably sounds good on paper to them, but is totally impractical in the long term. They will secretly house, feed, clothe and support hundreds or thousands of families? Ridiculous. Imagine the expense and the logistics involved. Fine, let them do it. They will be bankrupted in weeks.

Mainstream Church Hierarchy will not let them continue in the end if it sees the effect of it as a cut into their vig on the intake. Just ain’t gonna happen.

Most WCC member churches will likely get ‘social ministry’ money from their denomination, like Catholic Charities and LIRS provide RCC and ELCA congregations. And that has fed tie$.
