Remember George Lakoff (rhymes with)? He was a wordsmith for Democrat Party. This goes back to the Clinton years, and this is a guy that had meetings with Democrats to tell them what words to use in public. Protections is the new word for regulations. Where they always used to talk about regulations, the Democrats are now supposed to talk about protections.
Be it in housing, be it in any kind of business, be it environmental, its all now gonna be called protections. And right there it is (shuffling paper), in the New York Times: President Trump appears on the verge of reversing [regulations] put in place by the Obama administration
Obama introduced regulations, but theyre now being called protections. Folks, do not fall for this. This is a word game trick, and the purpose is very clear. Its to make it look like Trump is endangering people that Obama previously protected.

And “justice” is their word for oppression.
It’s Strangulation, not protection.
We wouldn’t have these problems if their parents had used”protection”.
Liberals are always disguising their words because the truth would make them unpopular. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who don’t look any deeper than the surface, or the words used to describe something.
As a small business owner in IT I see these protections every day
* Big business is protected from competition of little guys like me since they can afford to deal with regulations. Even as a small business I am expected/required to meet “big business regulations” to get some contracts.
* Contractors (me) and H-1B workers are protected from US workers being hired for what we do because of the regulations in hiring and firing employees.
* New-hires are protected from job openings that a company may like to fill. It’s easier/safer to overwork existing experienced employees with junior tasks than bring on someone who may not work out
for a job that isn’t critical.
There are so many other protections. But not enough. For example, we need “family leave laws” to protect potential parents (especially mothers) from being hired to a critical position by a small company that can not afford to be without them for many weeks. /sarc
the Democrats are now supposed to talk about protections.
This should be countered by saying “you mean regulations” every time a lib says it. Even if it’s over and over in the same conversation.
It’s coercion.
