Alan Colmes passed away Thursday morning at the age of 66 He was one of the few liberal commentators to appear on Fox News Colmes is survived by his wife, Dr. Jocelyn Elise Crowley, who is a professor at Rutgers University His former Fox News co-host Sean Hannity shares the news on Thursday, calling Colmes 'one of the nicest, kindest, and most generous people'

But stubborn as a mule with respect to liberal politics. RIP Alan Colmes.

I didn’t particularly like him, but admired his willingness to go into what for him was the lion’s den and defend his views.
If there is an afterlife, I hope his is pleasant.

He always seemed a bit sickly and not in the best of health.
Wiki: Colmes began his career in stand-up comedy. He developed his radio career in the Northeast, eventually working at stations such as WABC, WNBC, WHN, WMCA and WEVD in New York, WNHC in New Haven, and WEZE and WZLX in Boston.
His radio career took off when WABC hired him for the morning drive time slot. He was billed as “W. Alan B. Colmes,” as in the station’s call sign. He moved to WNBC in 1987, but his tenure there would be short when NBC announced in 1988 it would close its radio division. When WNBC went off the air for the last time on October 7, 1988, Colmes’ was the last voice heard.
Forget exactly when Hannity went solo on TV.
Hated his politics but I couldn't help staying tuned in to him when he was on the air. You're right -- he seemed like a decent guy.

Colmes always came across as a really nice guy who believed in his own liberalism beyond the talking points. I always enjoyed their show when he was teamed with Hannity on radio and later on TV. RIP.
Of course I didn't know him personally but he was always predictable and one sided.
Hannity's words sounded like a line from the Manchurian Candidate.

He always seemed like, if you went to his funeral, it would be hard to tell if he was the dead guy or the undertaker.

There was speculation Imus might retire but he recently re-upped with Cumulus Media.. Don-o was born the same month as Ringo Starr, July of 1940
