Conservatism cannot endorse homosexuality in any way, shape or form. To do so is to abandon conservatism.

Who said anything about endorsing homosexuality?

Exactly!

And now this Milo Adoration Society is seeking to turn FReeper against FReeper by branding anyone that disagrees with them a #NeverTrumper, or a GOPe.

There is a civil war fomenting at this site and I find it to be very disgusting . . . and Milo is their battle rag - a sodomite!

“To do so is to abandon conservatism”

Who gets to define conservatism? The High Priests of Conservative Orthodoxy, or you?

I know Mark Levin and Ted Cruz have been very vocal about what a “real conservative” is and is not. They are leading the “conservative shaming” brigade and laying claim to “High Priests of Conservative Orthodoxy”. And I don’t take kindly to it.

I think it harms us all when anyone claims somebody else is not sufficiently conservative to warrant the “conservative” label. If somebody wants to suffer the arrows to publicly call themselves conservative, it’s best to let them wear it.

Conservatism really needs to understand the reality of child sex abuse, how devastating it is and how long it takes to recover (especially when society tells them "that's it; you're gay; it's all over for you").

Conservatives need to start fighting for the victims of child sex abuse with compassion instead of kicking them to the curb.

Conservatives should be fighting against the insane bills like the one signed into law by Governor Christie of New Jersey that forbid therapy for "gay" children who do not wish to be "gay", even those children who may have developed this idea because they were molested in early childhood by an older child or an adult.

If conservatives would do those things, there would be a lot fewer adult homosexuals.

It is not an "endorsement" of homosexuality to develop compassion and hold out the promise of redemption to the adult victims of child sex abuse who have not yet found the supportive place in which to try to come to terms with what was done to them.

For "conservatives" to reject them out of hand because they are still acting out their homosexual victimization in adulthood and have had no place to find healing (as long as the acting out is with other consenting adults) is no credit to conservatism.
