Employees at Breitbart News are reportedly prepared to leave the company if controversial senior editor Milo Yiannopoulos is not fired.
Another senior editor at the publication told Washingtonian Monday that "at least a half dozen" employees are prepared to leave to organization because of remarks Yiannopoulos made about pedophilia that gained attention this weekend.
“The fact of the matter is that there’s been so many things that have been objectionable about Milo over the last couple of years, quite frankly. This is something far more sinister,” the senior editor said.
“If the company isn’t willing to act, there are at least half a dozen people who are willing to walk out over it.”

I’m with you, Bill. I’m not in a hurry to join a lynch mob ready to string up Milo and do the left’s work for them.
What do you think of his explanation? I am not a big fan of Milo one way or another, but I respect his ability and desire to troll liberals in a way that makes them crazy.
I read his explanation, and it seemed to make sense to me, in that I can see where someone would attempt to take something out of context or take advantage of his sloppiness, particularly his use of the word “boy”.
But I admit to not having heard the podcast or read the transcript of him.
This just sounds like typical character assassination to me. I always find it interesting that liberals try to gay-bait people to tear them down, but...isn’t it something THEY say people should accept as normal? Same with under-age sex of any kind.
It just smells to me of liberals looking for a scalp.

He did not say 13 should be the age of consent. He said that was how old he was when he was first abused.
He said the age of consent in England is 16. He thinks that is about right. His first long term relationship began at 17 and lasted for 10 years.
I don’t like his life style but I really dislike people misconstruing what he said.
Destroying Milo worked well because so many conservatives are stuck on the “yuck” factor when it comes to gays. The libs already hate him with a passion. And for both the NeverTrumpers and the libs, he is a Trump surrogate. So down he goes—losing basically everything in 24 hours. I hope he doesn’t commit suicide. He strikes me as a much better person than most.

He said some 13 year olds may be capable of giving consent. It isn’t just about genitals forming; it’s about the maturity of the individual person.
Again, that might be a libertarian position (no age of consent laws), but I disagree with that. There’s no 13 year old capable of giving consent to have sex with an adult.
Milo is just fine. Let the others walk. Reminds me of the Mormon supporters of Egg McMuffin turning on Trump. I do not care if Milo is a homo neo-Christian. Nor am I easily offended and I won’t give the Alt-Left an inch as they want to suppress free speech and of course criminalize being a right-winger or a conservative among which are many homosexuals and those with a abusice or nasty vulgar mouth. I am vulgar all the time now with the Alt-Left because after decades of their abuse I now hate them. I think my hate has some redeeming qualities to it just so long as I don’t allow my anger to cause me to make a mistake. Hasn’t there been enough fake news targeting Trump and his supporters to be at least suspicious and at least patient before deciding if the accusations are accurate? I’m not saying we should immediately believe Milo nor his accusers, but last time I checked, it’s innocent until proven guilty, especially with the well funded Left on the war path to take down any and every prominent Trump supporter.
Milo doesn’t ‘lose.’ He still can recover by repudiating saying a 13 year old can give consent. He can self publish his book.
With 40,000 sales (The_Donald crowd alone will equal 2x that in sales) he can make back his $250,000. If they already wrote him the check, he may not have to refund the advance. They breached the contract.

No I didn’t. I read his statement and listened to his video on FB.

You don’t destroy someone over something they say.
They are just words. He clarified his remarks, he committed no crime, nothing happened.
As far as whether or not a teenager is capable of consenting to sex with an adult, the law says that they are not.
And I’m also quite certain that such a teenager’s father says that they are not, and is likely more than willing to back it up with a bullet, so it’s not a risk worth taking.
I have not seen the video clip either and that’s why I have reserved judgment.
If FR management doesn’t get a grip on this Milo WEDGE attack, it’s gonna blow up the strong comeback we’ve been making.
