We are so fortunate Rex Tillerson was willing to take on the role of Secretary of State. T-Rexs approach is giving the pearl-clutching leftists fits, as outlined in this article by ABC which displays their collective angst.
Via ABC) [..] In his first weeks as Americas top diplomat, Tillerson has gone to great lengths to avoid attracting attention, despite a growing perception in Washington that the State Department is being sidelined by a power-centric White House.

A great read...
And he looks like a very senior member of the Russian delegation!
Just because a good guy is now in charge of a swamp does not mean he should be prominent in the larger picture. His swamp needs to be drained. And some swamps take longer to drain than others.

Truly wonderful read.. must be quite an experience to be in a room with both Trump and Tillerson.
It’s men like Tillerson who really put lightweights like mclame and rubio in perspective and make it abundantly clear what buffoons they and others really are.
“And to remind everyone, Rex Tillerson was the cabinet nominee that Mark Levin said was the worst possible selection in history. HERE and HERE Think about that level of disconnected idiocy the next time anyone gives you an opinion from Old Yeller.”
Anyone here who still thinks Mark Levin is anything but a bucket of crap should go elsewhere.
Thanks, yes a great article.
Aye. Years ago I thought Levin to be approaching god like status, but over the last year he has definitely crashed back to earth, maybe a little below
Plus, many DOS personnel "go native" very quickly, and forget who it is who pays their salaries.
On top of that, many have a very high opinion of themselves. They see themselves as intellectuals, and anyone who tries to "practice diplomacy" without their expertise is a moron. Moreover, they never bring anything to the fight when things get ugly. Then they will rely on the "military grunts" or "the Neanderthals" as they like to call them.
I man like Tillerson. Head of Exon and all the private head to head talks he’s had with foreign leaders .... must certainly have some CIA contacts and favors to call in.
He’s going to be the Keel of the Trump administration.
Trump promised only the best, so another campaign promise met.

The “bonus gift” now President Trump has given us all is a lengthy list of pseudo-conservative, worthless turds who have been bull$hitting us all into thinking that they were on our side for many years, when the only “side” they’ve been on is the side of the globalists like the Booshes, McLames, Grahamnesties, Kristols et.al.
It would be one of the major shames of true conservatives, if they were to “forgive” these remoras and ever listen to them again. We can’t jail them for what they’ve done, but we can make them poor.
Past styles of administrations has been stick and carrot but with no stick.
John Kerry insinuated himself everywhere bringing promises promises promises of American Dollars, American Support.
It’s gone on for so long that anybody that deviates is characterized as an ‘isolationist’. Trump’s no isolationist.
Tillerman is probably one of those people that believe those that speak the least are usually the smartest.
President Trump has a lot of great men: T-Rex; Jeff Sessions; Bannon...I don’t who to like the most...
Tillerson has behaved exactly as I expected. When it comes to matters in the oilfield I usually tell people, “Watch what Exxon does.” It has been that way for my 40 years in the business and for the years since the 50s for my respected mentors. Exxon is a machine and selects Borg like clones to control the machine. Every move is calculated and with what appears to be very little effort, no forewarning and executed with little fanfare.
The Exxon Tiger reminds me of SherKan of the Jungle Book sitting up in a tree with the look of, “I could eat you if I wanted to but not today.”

“Anyone here who still thinks Mark Levin is anything but a bucket of crap should go elsewhere.”
Levin is a life long solid conservative, firmly grounded in principles. He is a Reagan loyalist, and he led the Landmark Legal Foundation in championing several conservative causes all the way to the Supreme Court, and winning - not a bucket of crap. Remember Reagan’s 11th commandment, not to speak ill of a fellow Republican? (although I agree that Levin has violated this with Trump)
In my opinion, Levin has lost it to some degree over this last election cycle. He was wedded to the Cruz campaign, and the butt hurt drove him to some unjustified bitterness. There was a period where he just became intolerable to me - several times I had to turn him off. He seems to be getting over it with time though. Let’s not shoot our own.
That was a great article.
