As a survivor of a severe brain and somewhat bad spinal chord injury, I wonder if that is true or not.
I DO know that the “you will only be as good as you are going to get after two years” is a lie, regarding brain injuries.
I’ve had symptoms disappear 7 years later.
And the ones that are left are probably for good. It is what it is.
My worst damage was at the brainstem where it meets the spinal cord. The pain shoots from there to everywhere and when I wake up every morning it hurts severely (docs don’t know why)
Half of face turned red and stayed red which they can’t tell me why either.
I sometimes wonder if a chiropractor would help but I can’t take the chance of making things worse, as my aunt was on the phone with funeral homes ten years ago when I was in ICU!!
AND YES THIS KID IS A MIRACLE!!! GLAD THEY STILL HAPPEN. And God bless him!!
Another miracle would be typing 16 wpm after my injury when I typed 100 before. I am now back up to 100.
God is great.
Pointless pathos.
If you get the opportunity to see the programme it is well worth watching.
Definitely a miracle.
I would never have guessed that. Never.
God bless you.
Wow! Your story is amazing!
Blessings
Good post.
Yes, God is good. And you are a fighter.
Wow! You sound like a miracle also. God bless you for your progress and I’ll ask Him to do something about the pain.
Our granddaughter’s first child was born with very little brain and his prognosis sounded like this little boy. His doctors said he couldn’t live. He did. They said he would be blind and deaf. He isn’t. His mother has been a warrior for him, but he is still extremely affected. He is wheelchair confined and has not learned to speak. He communicates his emotions with hand gestures and grunts. Very sad, but his Mom still believes in miracles. So do we.
