"Bet it didnt have the orange tip on it." High velocity airguns don't have orange tips. They are rightfully considered weapons. Low velocity airguns (Airsoft, Nerf, etc.) are not. I own several "spring air" guns quite capable of 1200 fps pellet velocity.

Which reminds me, what would prevent a Criminal from painting the front of his real Gun Orange so the Police would hesitate before shooting him?

I own several "spring air" guns quite capable of 1200 fps pellet velocity. I read where the Bad Guys will use a black marker to hide the orange tip. I'm waiting to hear of some genius painting a real gun's muzzle with orange.
