It's A Bloodbath At The State Department

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is cleaning house at the State Department, according to a report.

Staffers in the offices of deputy secretary of state for management and resources as well as counselor were shown the door Thursday, according to CBS News.

Many of those let go were on the building’s seventh floor — top-floor bigs — a symbolically important sign to the rest of the diplomatic corps that their new boss has different priorities than the last one.

This week’s round of firings marks the second time State Department personnel have been cleared out since President Trump took office last month.

Good, State has needed a good cleaning out for a while. I am sure that this is warming the cockles of Edward Luttwak’s heart. He is a military strategist, and was a prof of mine at Georgetown in about 1982. He, uh, didn’t have much good to say about State. In fact, he was probably only half kidding when he told us that the very best single thing that President Reagan could do to improve our foreign policy would be to:

1) Order the Army Corps of Engineers to dig a tunnel from somewhere in Virginia, underneath the Potomac River, and terminating underneath Foggy Bottom, and to have them dig a large chamber at the terminus. This would have to be done so as not to be detected.

2) When the tunnel was completed, order the chamber to be filled with high explosives, and the rest of the tunnel to be back-filled.

3) When that was done, order the explosives to be blown at the precise time when every single key person at DOS was at a meeting on the 7th Floor, save Alexander Haig (then the Secretary).

I’m at a loss to explain why that wouldn’t be a good idea right now...and I’m ALSO only half-kidding. Of course, firing the one-worlder SOBs works, too, but it is not as quick as the other method.

The key to our recovery is not government but FREEDOM from government.

Government never was, isn’t now, nor ever will be a benefit to us outside of its constitutional limits. The federal government’s #1 constitutional assignment is preventing invasion and its valid constitutional authority is basically limited to that assignment plus a few other things.

Our free lives, associations, free enterprise, and endeavors are much healthier, happier, and more successful when government stays away. The feds are the guards at our political boundaries. We don’t want the guards coming into our houses and telling us what to do. We’ve had that for too many decades. Time to throw the guards out on their kiesters and put them back on their assignment to protect our national sovereignty and political orders from invasion.

Second World War in the European Theatre of Operations) was formulated, FDR FORBID any information on the plan to be divulged to the State Department. He said, “The place is like a sieve.” Our troops went ashore t Casablanca, and Algiers without any knowledge by the State Department that the troops had even left America.

Purge? I’d say that the State Department needs an enema.

Did you notice the silly grin on the clerk’s face when you go pickup the colon-blow prescription?

I think a lot of us have hope, in our hearts, that Donald Trump's Administration will do certain things.

1. Find the billions that Hillary lost.

2. Release for prosecution, to Congress, all the Fast & Furious documents and communications.

3. Release all the IRS emails and directives, and a list of all employees who engaged in anti Tea Party acts of suppression and persecution. Release a list of all employees of all other agencies who assisted the IRS in the persecution of Tea Party members.

4. President Trump should issue a pardon to the company which was persecuted for importing wood for their guitars, despite the fact that there were no legal violations.

5. Call off the dogs against Sheriff Joe Arpaio, and issue a full and unconditional pardon to Dinesh D'Souza.

6. Release all documents requested by Congress relating to the Benghazi massacre.

7. Put the BLM on a short leash, and disarm them.

8. Disarm all agencies whose primary mission has nothing to do with law enforcement.

I can keep listing things, but each person can add more. In other words, I am hoping for a cleansing of epochal proportions of the dirty things that this Government has done under the sewership (deliberate misspelling) of Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Linked to usajobs and monster.com (see image)

Don’t know if it’s real or not. State gov website doesn’t appear to have it.

I think it could be monster.com trying to get roster of candidates to forward on and get fees. etc. or sell list. It is most likely fake.

Be careful out here. Trump Admin needs solid freepers but don’t get faked in.

After being fired, some of them should be placed under surveillance.

Rex has very high integrity, is super intelligent, knows how to run a tight ship, and expects excellence. He has proven it.

I am thrilled to see the first out the door are the highest level people, which shows the rest of the staff, no-one is safe if you don’t measure up.

Rex will not be afraid to cleaning house as long and as deep as it takes to achieve the goals.

Marie Harf saw it coming and took a job at Fox News. And if marie Harf saw the cleaning coming, surely the rest of these little utopian liberal fascists must have known that their days were short.

Fact is that no one would hire them, and they all will have difficulty getting jobs anywhere outside of the liberal fascist fold. They likely will go to work for the Obama anti-Trump community organizing network.

The downside is that I still have to listen to Marie Harf.

there are a lot of us who would like to help President Trump Drain the Swamp and MAGA

but (and its understandable, alas) the application procedure is a bitch

Im sure he didn’t impose such a ridculous app review process at his company when he built it up to be so successful

he’s gonna lose out on a whole lot of talent if he keeps this (standard for quite a long time) federal govt application and review procedure (as he may feel he must, we will see)....

he is gonna lose out on a lot of hard-working, highly qualified potential assistants...nonetheless
