TRUMP APPROVAL GOES UP After Media Mush Pile on General Flynn

President Trump’s approval rating went up on Wednesday despite the continued onslaught of criticism by the liberal American media.

This comes one day after General Flynn resigned as National Security Adviser to the president.

Americans may be viewing the president as a sympathetic character as the media continues to steamroll him in their daily reports.

Rasmussen reported, via Free Republic:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 53% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 37% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 38% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -1. (see trends).

It's nice to see that he still has support. I think he needs to take advantage of this and hold a press conference where he does take some tough questions from the media to help start putting this to bed. I don't think that mostly ignoring it is going to make it go away because the media won't let up. They won't let up regardless, of course, but Trump won by going directly to the people, so a presser is one way to do it.
