It was still dark at 6 a.m. as Terry Rawlings Sr. guided his cherry-red Acura CL through Southwest Baltimore. He was heading to the gym to lift weights before his shift as a truck driver.
The 51-year-old was on Washington Boulevard near Bayard Street when his car was rear-ended by a Nissan Altima.
He pulled over and stepped out to check the damage. Before him stood a young man about 6 feet tall in a long black jacket, black athletic pants and New Balance sneakers.
"This is my mom's car," he told Rawlings. "I'm going to be in trouble."
Rawlings turned to look at his rear bumper. He saw only slight damage.
"Well, look," he said. "We can handle it."
Then he turned back to the other driver. A semi-automatic handgun stared back.
"Don't make me kill you, bitch," the young man said.
Rawlings had been set up in a bump-and-rob carjacking. The man shoved Rawlings, jumped into his Acura and sped off. An accomplice trailed in the Altima.
Carjackings in Baltimore have more than tripled since 2013, and the number has continued to climb in the first weeks of 2017, at a rate that has far outpaced other auto thefts. Some other U.S. cities are also seeing increases.

The word “black” is in the sentence. I don’t see the problem.
In parts of Baltimore, we are reaching the point where the proper response to a fender bender is to either proceed without stopping to the nearest police station or to open fire immediately.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think that you can have a pistol in your car in Baltimore. As to the self entitled ghetto punks, they have been indoctrinated all their lives by the White politicians that they are, for any number of reasons, entitled. Then the Black politicians that the Whites made possible to be elected joined the chorus. There entire families, clans even, going back several generations, that have never worked a day in their lives. Crime and welfare has supported them and supported them well throughout the years. I don’t like it, but I guess things happen that way.

I have to hand it to Taurus here, and to Smith & Wesson (who make a similar gun, The Governor, which you can find reviewed here). The folks who love these guns love them passionately. And they may be the biggest driving force behind the platform’s popularity.
What is the Judge actually good for?
It has its uses. The Taurus Tracker is perhaps the most ideal ranch sidearm. With a mix of .410 birdshot, buckshot, and .45 Colt it would handle just about anything that slithers or slinks about. A .45 Colt will dispatch a seriously wounded animal (especially from close range), like a CarKacker at any car window.
The longer barrel will tighten the shot pattern and increase muzzle velocity. The full size gun will have manageable recoil, and the full size grip will allow for better control. It will never be the most accurate revolver available.
.410 revolvers are effective self defense guns.

Why does everyone review that gun like you can select which round to fire? You can load a mix, but you shoot whatever is next in the rotation. For urban situations, you need a purely anti-human gun, like a Glock or other semi-auto with lots of rounds in the mag and each one as deadly as the last.
My father and his girlfriend went to a play in Baltimore back in the 1990’s. They stopped at a cafe in the dt area and had coffee and dessert before leaving. My dad went to the restroom which was located down a hallway. At the end was an emergency exit. As he entered, 3 black men showed up and followed him into the restroom and my father locked himself in the stall, watching as their feet were standing just outside the stall door, waiting for him to exit. My father panicked because he wasn’t allowed to have his gun with him and just stood there, waiting. His girlfriend knocked loudly on the door and screamed for him. The ghetto savages said, “Let’s go” and bolted, pushing past his girlfriend, running to the exit at the end of the hallway.
I know my father would have been seriously injured or killed if they had gotten their hands on him. Shame on Baltimore for handing your innocent residents over to the low IQ, lazy, worthless, criminal, ghetto, welfare scum that don’t even pay taxes.
We had these problems here in NJ over a decade ago (yesterday the movie “New Jersey Drive”, which revolved around this issue, was on TV); after the cops put a couple of the animals down the issue faded...
Newark wouldn’t let them film that movie there, so as I understand it they filmed in Brooklyn pretending it was Newark.
The obvious question should be:
Why is anyone in Baltimore?
I don’t, nor do my family members, travel to any of these shiite-holes. For what purpose?
Change your job, change your business, change your school. No economic inflows to war zones. Let them dry up and disappear.
Your father was lucky that he had his girlfriend with him. If he had been alone, he probably have been killed, or would have been in trouble for killing one of them. Thanks for sharing.
