What about separation of church and state?
Prisons are run by the state, they shall not promote or deny any religion.
IF they want special religious practices fine, let them pay for it, NOT the STATE!
To: nickcarraway
March practices Judaism, except when it comes to the Ten Commandments and that shalt not murder thingy... pretty sure that;s not Kosher

Judging from the length of his
wikipedia entry, it seems like he's already cost society millions.

Why would this cost anything. 3 packs of kosher hotdogs a week and water should suffice.
We are talking 10 bucks a week. I don’t give a damn if he gets tired of it or not. Don’t go around killing people and you don’t have this dilemma.
Better yet, just kill him.

prisoners have zero constitutional rights.
In fact slavery is STILL legal as long as they are a prisoner of the state.

At the Seat of Judgment this guy is going plead “I kept kosher at the end!”
Booming reply. “Well that may be, BUT...”
and that would be the loudest BUT in the universe.
Bring in a Orthodox Rabbi to clary things for the s***head judge that didn’t throw the case out on first reading.

In order to be assured of your special meals .. it’s best to plan on staying OUT OF JAIL.
NO JAIL IS REQUIRED TO FEED PRISONERS A SPECIAL DIET.
THIS IS ONE OF THE EXPENSES AT GITMO WHICH SHOULD BE STOPPED.

In similar situations, Chabad or other Jewish groups provide kosher food. I know that this prison would have a Chabad rabbi assigned to it by Chabad.
The lawsuit would seem to be being used for purposes other than making sure this guy gets kosher food.

Dishes, pots and pans that have been used to prepare meat can not be used to prepare dairy.
Grain used to make bread must be inspected to ensure it does not contain insects or insect larva.

The TV series Orange Is The New Black dealt with this subject; inmates converting to Judaism because the kosher meals were fresh and delicious while the regular food was disgusting.

The loaf of store bought bread ($1.25) I have is Kosher. It is marked as Parve and has a Kosher symbol. Water doesn’t have to be overseen by a rabbinical authority.

Still think that the rope would be a better solution.

That is phariseeism, not Torah. Do you understand the difference?
The Pharisees have countless false laws like that which violate the prohibition against changing Yehova’s laws. (like “The washing of the hands,” which Yeshua demolished in his first miracle at the Cana wedding)
