I vent to a Navy military HS and sort of looked like that when I flew home back to France for Xmas and other breaks... just a lot younger. Once in a while real Navy guys (obviously really new ones) would salute me... it was pretty embarrassing and I didn't really know what to do. The upside was that they always served me drinks in the airport bars and on the planes.
Isn’t she the one caught posing cutting off someone’s head and had to issue an apology? If I’m right, there’s a reason she was delayed.

I used to get pulled over all the time until I discovered it was my prescription sunglasses! A British custom agent demanded to examine my eyes thinking I was on drugs. After that, I always switched to my regular glasses in airports.
If she was an old white woman in a wheel chair, or a white guy with a catheter and bag, she’d have been physically accosted, made to go through a strip search, and been humiliated beyond recall. She got off easy.
What’s her point?
I was held for interrogation at the Polish Ukraine boarder. The Ukrainians had me on the Interpol list for most wanted. When I turned out to be 30 yrs older than the guy they were looking for, they let me go. When I returned to Poland the next day, the border guard informed me that I was captured at the Airport in London. If you ever wanted to experience border crossing hell, go from Ukraine to Poland around 2pm. Its like the Chicago stock yards where they push cows through. Its a wedge entry and you will get squashed by humans going through it. No lines, just a mass of people.

Tough toe nails. I’m a white, middle-aged male and they make me empty my laptop case and take my shoes and jacket off.
But get this... Okay, my last trip was east coast to west coast, non-stop, followed a week later with a return flight. Same deal each way. Once the plane was in the air, after having to go through the steps of unloading everything on a table, metal detectors, x-ray machines, wands, having to pass through a little gauntlet of 4 very alert canines and their handlers, and stowing my old reliable Swiss Army Knife in my checked bag, etc... the stewardess asked if I would like anything to drink. Why, certainly! After all that, I can now kick back and relax for 5 hours so I asked for a beer.
Well, this nice air-waitress reached in her magic metal cart and handed me a nice cold bottle of beer and a little clear plastic cup. Um... yeah, the bottle was real glass. Let that one sink in. You know, the kind of glass bottle you could crack over a armrest and use as a kind of very sharp weapon?... uh, yea...
Wait...it takes a few hours to enter the country?

I flew in from abroad once, pre-911, and it took me at least an hour. What does she expect?
