Left wing women are showered with praise in the media, while right wing women are harshly censured. During the 2016 Presidential Election, Hillary Clinton and Melania Trump were treated very differently. Distasteful liberal bias reared its ugly head, once again.
Democrat nominee, Hillary Clinton was applauded for the white pantsuit that she wore to the third Presidential Debate. The media linked her attire to the Women’s Suffrage Movement and their connotations of virginal purity. Mrs. Clinton’s pantsuit was reported as having “invoked patriotism and the history of women’s struggle for political equality in America.” Soon-to-be First Lady, Melania Trump, wore a stunning white dress when she spoke at the Republican National Convention, but unlike Hillary Clinton, Melania’s fashion choices were not paid tribute to. The media branded Mrs. Trump’s white dress as not “American” enough and insinuated that she attempted to portray herself as the “right” kind of immigrant. These accusations are libelous and outrageous. When Mrs. Clinton wore white, she was applauded, yet Mrs. Trump was criticized for wearing white. If Melania Trump were a Democrat, the news anchors and journalists would sing her praises and paint her as a loving mother and successful immigrant.

Clinton’s white pantsuit was actually a white flag of surrender to Jihadists everywhere.

There’s even left, and then there’s LeFt. We have something like the latter afoot here. They can’t even do liberal right, and when they say liberal, they lie, because they are illiberal.
Apples and oranges not matter how you slice it. Oh, and I think the orange is getting moldy.
The Left was horrified that a woman was a step away from being president — when that woman was Sarah Palin.
But when the woman was Hillary Clinton it was a momentous chance to make history and prove to the world that women could do anything.
The MSM is the Country’s greatest threat.
Enabling parent companies not to be patronized: Disney, Comcast, Time Warner.
Democrats can trash Betsy DeVos and not a word about a war on women.
The clothing is irrelevant. What about the sexist comments the MSM makes about Republican women that they’d never make about Democrat women, including calling GOP women terms cultured people would not use in public.
Liberals were just an irritant a generation or two ago.
But in the interim they have become so radical and unhinged from reality that they have become a mortal threat to the Republic.

We can't expect leftist women's groups and the leftist media to take the initiative but where were the so called leaders of the republican party on this?
I didn't hear or any of them defending Betsy in that fashion, or labeling democrats as sexists, or speaking out about the treatment of women the way democrats do when they have the chance.
Sure. it might be political theater but it works and republicans could learn a lot from democrats about how to use it effectively.
Democrats never miss an opportunity to demonize republicans and perpetuate the false notion of a republican War On Women.
On the other hand, Republicans rarely or never act to demonize democrats in a like fashion when circumstances offer an opportunity.
Donald Trump has shown that the best way to shut democrats down is to attack them back.
Remember Vince Lombardi's advice: “The best defense is a good offense.”
“Liberals were just an irritant a generation or two ago.”
Yep, like that spot on your skin, that little soreness in your throat, that bit of blood in your stool.
This is the aftermath of the gov't shutting down most of the asylums 40 years ago. The crazies now roam the street and go into politics.
My goodness. There is not a mental health facility on this planet that can help someone THAT deluded...
