Mixed feelings. 18 year olds can be naive as can be, but if you’re old enough to cop a round for your country, then you’re an adult and ought to be able to adult things.

I remember my first taste of adulthood. I went to the enlisted club at Camp LeJeune, and ordered a Schlitz Malt Liquor, because I saw my uncle drink one.

One of life’s lessons. Uncle didn’t know jack about booze; it was disgusting.

Old enough to fight for the Country, old enough to be treated as an adult.

I thought 26 was the new age of adulthood? If your parents have to provide medical insurance to the age of 26, you should not be able to make any decision on your own until you are 26. Otherwise they would have to be responsible for their own actions, which we know would violate liberal indoctrination.

Old enough to defend our country, yes, but with a commanding officer nearby to do a lot of your thinking for you.

Gamble yes, be responsible for paying your own Medical Insurance, no. Mommy and Daddy cover you until you’re 26.

Makes sense to me.

Maybe they should raise everything to 21 including the “draft” age. And maybe there should be 3 years of training before going to war. A better force??

So there are a lot of 18-20 year-olds that have enough money that they need fleecing????

This is NOT about providing adult entertainment for them!

I actually thought 18 year olds could gamble legally.

I bet Nevada is only considering this bill because their economy hasn’t recovered from the 2008 recession yet.

Now that “teenagers” under 26 years old can stay on their parent’s healthcare, they have more money to burn.
