All these other states are being invaded by the leftist from CA? Being behind enemy lines, that sounds great to me. I’m trying to figure out a way to get them all to leave.
if too many communist=-Islamophilic-brainwashed Californicationers move to TX, it will destroy TX
just saying, can TX only accept reasonable, moderate, balanced people?
Maybe not, if DJT runs off half the latinos.
100-125 people move to the Austin area per day.
Liberals are human cockroaches.
They have ruined California with their insane politics and now are fleeing to live in conservative responsible communities, just to start the destructive process again.
I despise leftist.
My Daughter says the time on the market for homes in Dallas is measured in hours.
We need extreme vetting in Texas. I wonder what does Gov.Abbott thinks about it?
$200,000 will buy you a decent place in Dallas/Ft Worth and the suburbs.
Not from CA they don’t. Phoenix gets more than that a day.
CaliFreepers: Welcome!
CaliFreaks: Get out of my state!!
In Austin houses sell 10-15% over the Ask in one day.
“At the end of 2016, university real estate analysts found the home mid-price point at $332,000.”

I haven’t seen anything decent that low in years.

200k wouldn’t buy a crack-house in south central LA. Even those in senseless murder districts fetch more.
They’ll ruin everything
well frankly,I cant think of a way TX can extremevet American citizens moving there
a state lacks authority to do that
but it sure would make a whole lot of folks happy! ha!
on the other hand, TX maybe could either secede or split into up to 5 states if it wishes to remain.... ???
I believe it. Just finding a suitable home for sale in Austin, irrespective of price, can be daunting. Most new home sales are well outside of Austin city limits, making commuting into/out of the city a nightmare. Apartment rental prices are even crazier and generally beyond the limits of most people the closer you get to the downtown area.
From the article....
Austin Mayor Steve Adler worried Austin would become like San Francisco where the average house price is $1,150,000 and only the well-to-do and those being subsidized can live. Nothing in-between. No middle class, no working class, no creatives and artists, he said in a recent State of the City speech
******
No worries, Mayor. Austin is right on track...many similarities between Austin and San Fran, already.
“just saying, can TX only accept reasonable, moderate, balanced people?”
Typically, they only accept people that can afford the real estate.
I guess our old 3/2/2 all-electric with a nice yard in Chino has gone up from it’s original $18,500 price then.
I’m sure you’re aware, for going on about 40 years now the prices in the S.CA area have all but priced out most of the folks and their kids who used to live here. I think it’s obscene but that’s the way it is.
