How to survive in a post-truth world

The Oxford English Dictionary chose “post-truth” as its 2016 Word of the Year. The OED defined it as "relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief."

This is an extraordinary development. Seeking restlessly for the truth has been at the heart of Western culture for more than 2000 years. Just 30 years ago, the idea of post-truth would have seemed just as absurd as “post-goodness” or “post-food”.

Democrats often criticize Republican for not being civil, which usually involves telling the truth about Democrats. Sure, some Republicans tell lies, but after watching them for a long time, I am convinced that Democrats lie about EVERYTHING, from who they are and what they believe to what their intentions are.

NOTHING is lacking in civility more than lying. Lying is an attempt to possess something of value to you that you would not have if you told the truth. Therefore, lying is a form of stealing. So are we about to enter an era of post-theft?

Let me be uncivil for just a moment: I hate liars and I hate thieves. They are a threat to civilization as we know it. Tolerance of either is an invitation to anarchy . . . which is precisely what the left wants. . . NEVER!!!!

Truth has always been more hated than lies, even before Socrates who was killed for his beliefs. Voltaire, John Locke, Adam Smith—all the early Christians had to flee or get put into prison or killed, for telling the “truth’.

Without “truth”, there can be no “free will” (agency) and critical thinking. If you fill little children up with lies and misinformation (Pride in anal sex where Good and Evil is flipped), there is nothing in the brain to “think” with——and that is why American schools have put out such irrational “group (non) thinkers” who can’t even “know” if they are a boy or girl. They are Lenin’s useful idiots (slaves for the state and elite corporations). They took out the only tools to “think” with—Classical Christian curricula for Marxist literature and “history” in the 30s, which destroys rationality and embeds evil, warped ways of “thinking”—where emotions control Reason.

Americans, since 1970 on steroids, are being programmed with Neo-Marxist curricula/literature and hyper-sexualized to destroy virtue formation (so they remain puerile and narcissistic (without virtue formation). Without virtue, you are a slave for life. After the 12 years of brainwashing inside artificial institutions which just program to destroy agency and embed dependency and “group-(non)-thinkers”, children are incapable of maturity (Loving the Other—true flourishing, true diversity).

It is ideological subversion which creates “cognitive dissonance” when “truth” is stated. Emotions destroy the debate because the person is actually made mentally ill by all the subversion all his life. (Mind like people in “Brave New World” and “most in 1984)-—inability to “know” or seek the truth. The desire for Truth is killed in young children, and they wouldn’t know how to get it anyway, since they are programmed to accept the authority figure (the State).

That seeking of Truth, the Laws of Non-Constradiction is a Western Christian concept which grew out of Catholic Theology in the 1200s, the Scholastic period. It developed concept of individualism and free will: all other cultures are collective cultures-—”One Mind—One Way of Thinking—totalitarian cultures. They can only create serf-type mindsets.

The Marxists in the early 1800s new to collapse culture you lie and fill children up with disinformation. Europe was easier to brainwash, because only America had local control of “education”.

With evil communist, Dewey, the curricula was watered-down and destroyed in the 30s, and eventually the Bible (Book of Wisdom) was ejected from the classroom by the 60s, as was Classical curricula: Socratic Method, Aristotelian Logic, Euclid/Rhetoric——all to destroy the mind integration which created the Age of Reason.

The West adopted the programming and conditioning of their children like the dogs of Pavlov and through out Classical Education—which is the only kind of education which gives you the tools to think critically.

Getting young children OUT of the Natural family at young, vulnerable ages was essential for “group-think” mindsets. Parents should not allow their children in group centers for more than a few hours a week until well after age 7. “Early education” warps all perceptions of male/female/family, Reality, Common Sense, Individualism-—that time to reflect and think without distractions 24/7 that doesn’t exist anymore. The Davy Crockett mindset is almost obsolete as is true masculinity.
