BERKELEY, Calif. .(KTVU) - U.C. Berkeley Police officers were standing by Thursday evening, for the weekly meeting of the Berkeley College Republicans.
It is the organization that invited alt-right firebrand Milo Yiannopolous to campus the night before.
His appearance was cancelled when organized agitators invaded a peaceful protest, setting fires and breaking windows at the Student Union venue.
"Milo had a right to speak, Milo should have been allowed to speak," declared club President Jose Diaz, to an overflow club meeting of some thirty students, some spilling into the hall.
UCB estimated the campus property damage at $100,000. But the club says it's doing better than ever.
"We're actually going to probably grow," exclaimed member Tom Tatum, "and that's the absolute irony of all this, that we're probably going to expand,"
Chimed in fellow club member Matt Ronnau: "Now it's national news. People all over know about it. So I think the protestor's plan backfired."

I thought Milo was a Catholic. Seriously. I watched the video from the night before Bezerkly... He was wearing a crucifix. He has an entire speech on how Catholics are the best religion. I think he has a Jewish parent.
Sound like the far left has overplayed their cards. The moderate leftists aren’t joining in. The only ones following are the politicians and the press. Keep it up and the Dems will fade into the past.
Be very careful of these new “members”. They may not be your friends. Watch them carefully and don’t hesitate to toss them on their ass if they’re infiltrators.

A pit doesn’t contemplate why he is told to “sit”, “stay”, ot “”attack”, he just reacts to a command he knows will lead him to a “reward”.
Most of these dogs of Soros don’t know why they riot, and destroy, just just want that “treat”. Most probably don’t realize that THEY are the “fascists” that THEY are protesting.

No. He’s Roman Catholic.
If the cops had been authorized to gather and process, say, a hundred of these punks, they probably would have discovered three things. One, at least half weren’t students. Two, a fair percentage would have been from out of town, maybe out of state. Three, they were all organized by outside parties. This was a rent-a-mob.
Elsewhere: his advance book sales (on Amazon?) are up 12,700%. Pretty anemic, if you ask me.
