This is GOOD news. Those employees who are going to be a problem - disruptive, insubordinate, at odds with administration goals - have just self-identified, making it easy to know which ones to fire first.

If Trump can’t fire them, Congress can, under just re-instated reconstruction era rules, cut their specific salary to $1/year. That needs to be actually done, not just threatened, to enough to get their attention. I don’t know whether that rule can be used to target pensions of ‘past’ employees, but if it might it should be tested on Lois Lerner and her former superiors.
