Jeff Sessions advanced in the Senate today to becoming our new Attorney General. All that is left between Sessions and being Attorney General is the final vote in the Senate for final confirmation. Once Sessions gets in, the fur is going to fly! The democrats know this, and they have done everything possible to bar Sessions from confirmation. They used an obscure rule to delay Sessions vote, which was supposed to happen Tuesday. Democrats on the committee gave lengthy speeches opposing him, triggering a rule that doesnt allow the panel to be in session for two hours past the state of the Senate day. However, it looks like their last-ditch efforts have failed.
Next, some great news, President Trump told Rep.(R-Utah) Jason Chaffetz of the House Oversight Committee he was doing a great job and to keep it up. Chaffetz is in the process of investigating Hillary Clinton, so it sounds like he is free to do what needs to be done. Chaffetz was so excited with what President Trump told him, he told everyone. Someone asked him if he was going to investigate Trump, and he said absolutely not. Below is the video of Chaffetz sharing the good news with his colleagues.

WINNING!
Poor Chaffetz ,he going to be busssssy
“investigate Trump”?
Did Trump used to be a federal employee?
Trump has no control over the third branch. Seperate but equal.
But giving H something to have nightmares about ......
There needs to be a full scale Nurenburg-style trial in which the politicians who have committed treason against the people to further the interest of themselves and others face justice.
The Clintons, Obama’s, Kerry and the Bush’s should all be faced to answer the court . And I suspect most will find themselves lucky to escape the chair.
By justice, you meant handing?
ping
The left will lose their minds over this! YAY!!!
I would bet my last dollar Obama had control over it.
I’d bet Hitlery is as nervous as an old whore in church.
Hillary and company seem to think she still has a public service future.
That’s a hoot.
Well, I guess cleaning prison toilet with a tooth-brush is a public service.
Trump does have some say in what the DOJ does.
Coordination between Congressional oversight and the DOJ investigative and prosecution process could be an efficiency.
So when is Sessions’ final confirmation vote? Just schedule the damn vote and get it over with !
I agree...valjar/obama had control over it.
I bet you are all correct ! Lol
“Once Sessions gets in, the fur is going to fly!”
This is going to be loads of fun.
Soon, Obama should start to wet his bed at night.
They may need Sessions vote in the senate to get others through It was mentioned on FBN today.
I watched C-SPAN some today and saw Dick Durbin attack, slander and try to professionally destroy Senator Sessions. I have to credit Durbin’s parents for naming Dick Dick because he is a real Dick.
HoosierMama, I’m sure you are technically correct.
I do think it’s good that Trump says he’s fully behind them though.
I think we should all tell them that.
