Shortly after Donald Trump won the presidency in a historic and unprecedented Election Day upset over rival Hillary Clinton , many on the left took to the streets in protest. The situation escalated when protesting turned to rioting in a number of cities, injuring police officers and damaging property.
A week later, Green Party candidate Jill Stein announced she was launching a recount, but only in the typically blue states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, which Trump had won. Clintons campaign team joined in on the effort, which resulted in finding more votes for Trump in Wisconsin.
Despite the recount findings resulting in a bolstering of Trumps legitimacy, leftist agitators urged Electoral College electors to abstain from finalizing the presidents place in the White House on the basis he lost the irrelevant (California) popular vote. They failed and ended up with more electors defecting from Clinton than they did for Trump.
Then came the accusations of Russian interference and although not a single vote was changed, Democrats ran with the narrative anyway to further delegitimize the process and Trumps duly elected status as president.
Fast-forward to the inauguration on Jan. 20 and 67 Democrats, a third of all Democrats in the House, refused to show up. Democratic Rep. John Lewis (Ga.) told NBCs Meet the Press he didnt believe Trump was a legitimate president, despite the constitutional process validating him as president of the United States.
Now, Democrats are holding Trumps Cabinet nominees hostage, some of whom are vital to national security such as the secretary of State and attorney general. At this point in President Obamas first term, he had nearly all of his Cabinet and agency nominees confirmed thanks to Republican cooperation. Now, because of Democrat obstruction, Trump doesnt even have half. Adding insult to injury, Democrats led by Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) vowed to filibuster Trumps Supreme Court nominee, despite not knowing who the nominee was or anything about their judicial record.
Schumer, along with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), took to the steps of the Supreme Court Monday night to oppose the president and rally protesters, ignoring the basis of Trumps executive order on refugees came from Obama administration guidance on countries harboring terrorists.
Former President Obama, who left the White House for the final time just 11 days ago, couldnt help but opine on Trumps actions for the sake of our values and muddied the waters about what the executive order actually means.
Citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake, Obama spokesman Kevin Lewis told Politico. With regard to comparisons to President Obamas foreign policy decisions, as weve heard before, the president fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion.
His commentary breaks with longstanding tradition of former presidents staying out of the current presidents business. Not to mention, the executive order doesnt discriminate against individuals based on religion, and in fact indiscriminately bars people of all faiths, including Christians and Yazidis under ISIS genocide, from temporarily entering the United States. It does discriminate based on geographical location.
All of this is to say Americans will quickly tire of Democrat temper tantrums, especially when they are based on false accusations of racism, bigotry and bogus narratives. After all, thats why Trump won in the first place.
After losing more than a 1,000 seats in statehouses, governors mansions and Congress throughout the past eight years, Democrats should be focused on rebuilding their party, not protesting or making surface-level arguments because they didnt get their way in the 2016 presidential election.
Republicans are running the table after years of leftist hyperbole and fearmongering. They will continue to do so if this is the path Democrats are going to take moving forward.

The Democrat Party people are unhinged, from the former pathetic _resident 0bama down through their leadership and politicians to the thousands of protesters on the streets who should be getting jobs instead of making fools of themselves.
I’m hoping like hell that it won’t take eight years of this liberal bullcrap before the majority of normal, patriotic citizens rise of and put these worthless POS scum where they belong... the trash heap of history.
I don’t care that they disagree or hold news conferences. But getting in the way of a President trying to construct his Cabinet is a complete disservice to the American people. Not to mention childish. Their reasoning is consistent with the former President and otherwise based on lies and superstition.
I urge all my fellow Americans to contact the Democrats in your district and your state and tell them that their slow-footing is putting us ALL at risk and to grow up.
I’m sure many of these leftist criminal “protesters” really would like to see civil war. However once the economy starts hitting on all cylinders and the President gets the first 100 days done as promised, these loonies will be largely marginalized, and their enablers will look stupid. I’m so proud of President Trump—the right man at the right time!
The steps to victory are these:
1.Democrats continue to preach stupid, easily disproved falsities, thinking they still have a monopoly in the media.
2. Republicans run solid Trumpian candidate in the Senate in 2018, increasing their majority to 62. (there never would have been over 40 Democrat Senators with a “Progressive” media Establishment.
3. Democrats continue to flog Trump as the devil while the economy recovers, people get back to work, illegal immigrants self deport, and Islamic terrorism wanes in the U.s.
4. Donald Trump wins a Second term with 45 states electory votes and a solid majority in the popular vote.
5. Donald Trump appoints a second and third Supreme Court justice. The Court has an Originalist majority for the first time in 80 years.
Democrats are the poster subjects for the conclusion of Lincoln’s quote, “ You can fool some of the people some of the time, and you can fool all of the people some of the time; but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.” Time has run out for them.
Pavlich was a Never Trumper. I can’t listen to her anymore.
with a Progressive media
Should be
without a “Progressive” media
Bump!
Love this!
Dems are shooting their wad right now, and if you are going to shoot at the King, you best make sure you kill him, and I am afraid that this, their best shot, isn’t going to work.
This situation is getting beyond ridiculous. The election was over 10 weeks ago and the ‘Rats just can’t let it go. They just can’t.
Yep. No matter how “not guilty” she is.
Democrats are LAW-LESS because Republicans are BALL-LESS!!!
We should employ the Coulter Rule on all Katie Pavlich articles: Because she’s a great read and easy on the eyes, all threads MUST contain a photograph.
