“Not really. Take a look at the NY county map that supported Trump.”

That is why we need to have the SCOTUS review "one man, one vote,” because it gives all the political power to the few high concentrations of “humanity,” and I use that term advisedly, the large cities. Here in California, before OMOV was mandated, our State Senate was modeled after the US Senate, and as a consequence, there was a degree of equity that gave the rural areas enough clout to keep the state relatively conservative. But once OMOV was mandated, it didn't take long for the Los Angeles Basin to take control of the entire state. And then they added the "little feature" that uses the raw Census numbers in determining the number of legislative districts, which results in the large cities, which also happen to have disproportionate numbers of illegal aliens in residence, getting more representation than they would otherwise have if only citizens were counted in the redistricting process.

I do not agree with abortion. It’s merely a form of legalized murder.

My real preference is to define it as murder, but, with that said, I prefer it in a state constitution over the US Constitution. And it should be legislated by elected officials and/or put to the vote of the people, not decreed by appointed judges.

Abortion has zero reason to be federal law.

Hey, I thought the Cuomo's were a good, Catholic family.

Instead of the USSC simply overturning Roe vs. Wade and directing it back to the governing of individual states, I'd like to see them outlaw it on the grounds that abortion denies the basic right to life of the unborn human being. NO STATE should be allowed to approve the murder of innocent human life. If even one state has such authority, then it is basically saying that the unborn child has no right to life or that the mother's place of residence determines whether her child can live or die depending on her choice.

The court has ruled in the past that the conditions of the child's conception determined his/her right to life when they ruled that "rape or incest" meant an abortion could be done at any time of the pregnancy. Once you have such an "exception", you automatically give up the basic argument for the right to life. The only exception that can remain valid is the legitimate and imminent loss of the mother's life without intervention - and this is RARE. In this case, BOTH the mother and child would die. But in all cases, saving both their lives should be done as much as is medically possible.

Abortion has done nothing in this country but cheapen ALL life. It's about time we accepted this truth and did something to reverse it.

They appear to be as Catholic as Kerry, Biden, Pelosi, Kaine and that crowd.
