I use Bing. It may be just as liberal but I don’t know it.

Is it $4 million or $2 million? The headline and text of the article state two different figures.

Who are all these "refugees" and "immigrants" working for Google?

I haven’t used Google in years.

LOL here I thought for a half second they did something decent. I thought they donated to refugee causes, you know, food, clothing, medical aid but noooooooo, they donated to the ACLU. What hypocrites

Better than government funding. Charity should be private.

Google is a multibillion dollar company. A few million is chump change. They are stingy and the meager donation is evidence of their racism. An insult if you ask me.

Another reason I use startpage for websearches. It’s as good as google and never tracks its users. Also allows users to visit webpages anonymously.

give the funds to the American Civil Liberties Union, the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, the International Rescue Committee and the UNHCR.

and after that, where does the money go?

Why weren’t they doing this before?

Why isn’t it $40 million?

They love them so much, after all

RE: Is anyone using a web browser besides Google that they recommend?

I have been using this one ( a Project that grew out of Mozilla Firefox ), ever since Mozilla forced out their CEO and Founder Brendan Eich for privately contributing $1,000 to California’s Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage in California:

I am quite satisfied with it.

Good on them. I believe high net worth individuals and companies should begin footing the bill for causes they believe in instead of relying solely on the Federal Government.

Shareholders may have a different perspective on outlays unrelated to their line of business.

That is similar to an ex-president donating his used underwear. They really have no compassion when it comes to giving their own money.

Why are they so hell bent on inviting those into this country that will only cause us grief in the end? I do not invite termites into my house.

I’m glad they are so hypocritical. They could easily afford to give $4 billion.

I’m glad that deep down they really don’t give a sh*t about this “cause”.
