Race baiting? I call FOUL!
Where in the world is the Republican party? The only time they find cameras is to disagree with Trump. Not one of them is being helpful at all! If there were ever any doubters as to the two parties having virtually no daylight between them, Trump should have squashed that by now!

You're right, mumblypeg, and thanks for standing up for Jindal. He's brilliant and he's also a very astute businessman; I recall he ran a hospital before he went into government and he brought it out of the red and into the black when everyone else said it couldn't be done.
There is sanity in politics, after all, even if it is on a limited basis!

It has nothing to do with his skin color. The guy showed his true colors during the primaries with extremely nasty comments to the one true reformer in the race, Trump. I recognize a RINO when I see one. He gets no special consideration because of his skin color.

I know the facts regarding Jindal. And as I said earlier, Jeb Bush did some good things as Governor of Florida but that doesn`t change the fact that Bush is as GOPe as they get.
What we`re debating here is not what Jindal did as Governor, but what his motives are. I remember not so long ago when Paul Ryan was considered to be the next coming of Reagan. I can list many more examples of up and comer GOP elites who had people equally fooled. I continue to contend that those who think conservatism is the driving force behind Jindal`s ambition are being naive. No apologies. Do you know what`s in Jindal`s heart? Me neither. But I`ll take my judgement over yours any time.
I never said a word about Jindal`s race, and my criticism has nothing to do with his race. I actually liked the guy till he revealed what an establishment tool he really was during the primary season. Perhaps your support of Jindal is based on his race? Just a thought.

Jindal was repeatedly insulted for his ethnicity during the primaries, wisecracks about “get me a cherry slushee, Abu,” and in this thread, by people who post offensive, racist memes and obviously know as little about him as you do.
You on the other hand, keep comparing him to Jeb Bush, whom you obviously seem to admire more than Jindal.
The fact is that Jindal has a LOT of admirers on this thread, and FR in general, among people who know his record.

As you well know, Jindal did NOT win the nomination nor the Presidency.
Whether or not he was qualified to run as an “anchor baby” of a parent whose naturalization process was incomplete at the time of his birth, was the subject of considerable debate last year. Now it is moot.
He’s not the President. He didn’t usurp anything. He’s a legal citizen of this country who loves this country. He is now a former Governor and supporter of President Trump. He heads a conservative policy group that seeks to promote a return to conservative American values.
As you know, numerous individuals have called for Trump to be assassinated, and numerous Trump supporters have been physically attacked.
For you to suggest that Mr. Jindal should be targeted for violence—in this climate and context, when there are unhinged lunatics eager to do exactly that, to hurt any or all of us (you, me, Republicans, Trump) is SO appalling I can’t even wrap my head around it.
You sir, are aiding and abetting the left. As far as I’m concerned, YOU are the traitor.
