CBS 12 reports that the mayor of Stuart (FL) wants to move forward after she told a police officer that she didn’t know “we were serving pig tonight.”
John Kazanjian, president of the Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association, Inc. feels differently.

I’m sure she wants to move on quickly. She might have meant it as a bad joke but she would have to know the officer very well to pull that off.

Yeah. Slurs are always perceived as jokes when they’re uttered by Leftists but those same jokes would be considered hate crimes if they were uttered by people on the right.
Not what I’m saying. There is no context for what she said. For all you and I know she’s buddy buddy with some officers and was makin a joke with them.
I used to work with detention and deportation officers at a federal detention center. They had to go back into the actual prison once or twice a week to do interviews with their assigned detainees. When they started to head back there I would quip: “Time to beat the prisoners huh?” It got a laugh because they knew me.
As much as I hate to say this it sounds like the local LEOs need to stage a “sick out”.
Stuart Florida is a very conservative and wealthy town about 30 miles north of West Palm Beach.
It is about as nice a place as one can find quite honestly.
Stuart mayor stepped in it and deserves the scorn.
There are stupids everywhere and their Mayor proved to be one of those stupids.
How was she elected there? Are they so wealthy that they had to prove they weren’t racist?
They attack a person in uniform and when they get cornered, nothing to see here time to move along.
