May announced that the Queen has invited Trump to come to the UK later this year on a state visit.

May said that Trump had told her he was “100% behind Nato”.

Addressing Trump, she said: Today we have reaffirmed our unshakeable commitment to this alliance. Mr President, I think you confirmed that you are 100% behind Nato.

Does Teresa May actually speak for those Britons who voted for the Brexit from the globalist EU? Or, for the globalist which have conspired to utilize NATO as a vehicle to start WWIII with Russia?

Trump won't be long in learning who this woman represents with her preemptive press announcements.

Mr. President, I think you???....

Weird. What weak leadership, makes me wonder if she was actually listening to Trump or just guessing.

Really wish Trump hadn’t said that. The EU must defend itself. It costs more than $150,000 per annum for each soldier and sailor deployed abroad. After the 6th Fleet failed to distinguish itself at Benghazi, have to wonder how these deployments are enhancing American security.

Nothing wrong in NATO if ALL members share the cost in a fair manner. US Treasury is bankrupt and can not foot lion’s share of the cost.

Maybe his first mistake..?

I feel a little sick.

Europe is still full of War Mongers who will try to profit maximally from this.

:(

Trump did NOT say US will continue to carry unfair proportion of cost of operating NATO. Since our Treasury is bankrupt by any accounting standard, we can not keep sharing disproportionate share of the cost.

No worries, this is classic Trump. He wants other NATO countries to pay their fair share. He stakes out an extreme position and works his way back to get what he really wants in the first place. Trump knows good allies are important and isn’t looking to destroy NATO, just save some money and establish some American leadership as opposed to Euro influence.

He probably told May he would be behind NATO 100% if they reform and pay their way. That’s why the little qualification in her statement. She couldn’t lay out the entire exchange in a short statement. She’s looking for conciliation not confrontation, and Trump had spent the rest of the day talking “yuge” respect and friendship with Britain and buttering May up.

He knows what he’s doing, relax everybody.

Sounded to like May was speaking for Trump before he has time to formulate a clear policy directive

....not sure Trump can be DOMINATED BY AN ELITIST WOMAN with an aristocratic British accent....

Did you watch her whole speech because, in it, she acknowledged that Trump has said ‘although NATO does need some updating to it’ (paraphrase).

NOT a fan of her.

May was obviously playing the Margaret Thatcher with Ronald Reagan routine,..

...but, Thatcher never came across to Reagan as the one who was dictating policy ‘across the pond’ to her little hick brother....

Just remember how nice Trump was several months ago to Pena?

Well the price for supporting Nato is all member States paying their fare GDP share. Germans need to pay up while less rich countries like Poland already are members in good standing paying their agreed to share.

Trump doesn’t like free-loaders.

“Poland already are members in good standing paying their agreed to share”

How does Trump feel about countries, like Poland, who are being played as pawns in the GLOBALIST game to used by NATO & the EU to start WWIII with Russia....?

.....(that is the real question)....

....Trump needs to be reminded of Ike’s parting warning, “beware of the military/industrial complex”.....AKA the Anglo/American Establishment

Being 100% behind NATO and our historical European allies is not the same thing as saying we love paying for it and by the way send us some more bills. Trump will probably also say he is 100% behind a good relationship with Mexico while also saying they will pay for the wall and get rid of these drug cartels. These are multifaceted complex relationships.

The one who brung ‘em to the Brexit dance was Farage. However, May is who we have at present to work with and she’s making the right noises for the most part, for now.

I don’t recall either candidate Trump or President Trump demanding that we exit NATO. I recall him expecting that all member nations pay their fair share to support it. Britain has. Germany apparently has not.

Maybe this is due to Frau Angela Merkel von Trabant being more familiar with the other side of the wall in her formative years, but this state of affairs has to change. That’s what Trump wants.

May stating that he supports NATO 100% is not in error and does not represent her attempting to speak for him or dictate to him. I strongly suspect any such attempt would not turn out as planned anyway.

Trump can be 100% behind NATO and still demand they pay up and recommend mission reviews. I have no problem with it whatsoever.

Here we go again - she claims he stated it in that way, and there is no available transcript, and folks are going all concern troll.

Exact words and context or it's fake news and all the reliable concern trolls are lapping it up.
